Purchased soil with gnats already in it

anyone have experience with baking soil in the oven before use? I'm going cheap this round and bought some organic soil with fungus gnats in it when I opened it... Tossing it in an oven bag and baking at 350F for 30 minutes a pound, should I go longer? Anyone think this is worth a shot? Let's hear what everyone thinks...
