pullin a full vac @5000ft

Quick question. As elevation rises I understand so does pressure, I believe it is something like 1.2 for every 1000 feet. That being the case, would a full vac be held at around 24hg @ 5k elevation? I am about to run a small mountain through my new closed loop and am brushing up on my knowledge before hand so that I do not end up stuck in the middle or frustrated at poor results due to lack of knowledge. If anyone has any tips for proper use of a vac chamber that would be much appreictaed as well. Thanks all!

At 5000' you only have 24.9" Hg to work with. 29.9 - 24.9, means that you have to adjust your readings by 5".

So what would be my ideal or recommended Hg to purge at this elevation? I understand I will never reach a full vac but I'm OK with saving some terpenes.

29.5" Hg -5" Hg = 24.5" Hg the same as -29.5" Hg at sea level
