I can't believe the shit my son's having to go through right now, even though he is 100% legal according to the state (California). He just had another court appearance this morning, and I've gotta say his mother's stomach has been in knots.

I feel for ya just stay strong and he'll get through it. My parents are on the verge of a divorce because of the stress caused by this incident I am on very close to filing a harassment complaint because almost every time I leave my house I get pulled over. 3 times in September 6 in august mostly for things like "just reminding you your tabs are due for renewel in 15 days" "your brakelight is a little dim, how much have you had to drink sir" all non-probably cause things just keepin me on my toes

They pulled you over to remind you that your tags were due in 2 weeks? That is harrassment. You need a video camera in your car at all times.

You have to make it where you are unable to see the screen while driving or they will ticket you for that. Get one with no viewing screen on it, then hook it to your headrest

mobilephone come with a recorder (digital) maybe record the officer stating his name etc etc record whole convo and use that as your deffence for harassment.

best be checking laws on recording of police, but have a look everyone carrys a mobile it takes a couple of seconds too start a voice recording.

also state that you are recording for harrassment charges, that normaly makes a cop think twice

Yes, he'll get through it, although his current problems were caused by my own father (and I'm leaving it at that), which makes the whole thing so much more distressing for me because it didn't have to happen.

You ARE being harassed, this sounds much like what my son experiences with the LACo. Sheriff's Department (except it was another PD that popped him and my dad). I agree with Miss Hester, you could use a video camera in your car.
