So I got three plants going - Frisian Dew, Master Kush, and Northern Berry Berry. They're all 3 days away from their 7th week of flowering:

]

In the back left - the NBB, the back right is the MK, and the front is the FD. Out of frame to the right is a fem Lemon Skunk.

The Frisian has some nice smelly nugs all over it and it looks pretty ripe. I looked up it's flower time and it's listed at 7-9wks..

I pulled the ol' 60x scope and it's about 95% cloudy trichs. There's a few clear ones here and there, but not many. Also saw a couple ambers floating around.

Anyways, I'm just about out of stash and don't want to spend more money for anything right now so I said fuck it and pulled a branch of the frisian. I trimmed it up nicely and put the main cola in a brown paper bag on top of paper confetti, on top of a radiator. I'm going to leave that there for a few days and see what happens with it. I'm not expecting a great taste, but I think it'll do the job. The bud weighed 7g:

I put it in a brown paper bag that was half filled with strips of paper bag, the buds then layed on top of that, folded top and placed on a radiator.. Think that will quick dry it in a few days? Or is there a better method to make it smokeable in a couple days? I do have a food dehydrator, would it be better to just put it on there? Or maybe do the bag thing for a couple days then the dehydrator to finish?

The rest of the stem had some popcorn nugs on it, so I am trying a water cure. I have them submerged in distilled water and will change the water every day for 7 days, then on to a dehydrator per the writeup I've read.

I know most people's stand on this thing, but I wanted to do it. :)

Thanks for any tips.

Does not everyone, " do what they feel they must sometimes? "

However, I will give you one suggestion, for you too take as you will friend.

Remember no matter what is said; " this is a fruit....period. "

You can sit any fruit in a paper bag, ect and it will continue to ripen to a point, if left alone to dry completely, before curing in jars.

However, if your leaves around the buds are still green " unless you are intentionally adding nutes to try and prevent it, " the fruit will not be done and will not be at it's best........I chopped early too, when I first started for quick smoke and otherwise.

My advise......wait and let the rest pay off the right way for your hard work.

Without even using a Scope, it will be done, right around the time it looks dead and yet glows like the Holy Tree that it is.

Quick smoke is just not worth it, unless you are having physical difficulties and no money and no choice.

Looks Great and Be Blessed,

Good words natural. And yes, I am waiting on everything else.. One branch off that plant isn't too much.. There's a lot :)

Kdoe420 - they've all been LST'd so they're pretty short.. I'd say from the top of the soil they're each about 2ft maybe.

Holy fuckin schnikes!

I just threw two popcorn nugs into the CFL quick dryer.. After 30 mins in there they came out very very nice..

Just finished breakfast, clear head, packed up the ol' one hitter twice, and man, I am fuckin off my rocker. This is some good shitz mang!!! I'm glad I have a clipping off this in veg :D

Wow..

I'm stoked.. I think I'm going to wait about another 7 days, one more watering, and call it quits for the FD.

Im trying to choose my 4 strains to grow so i taste test as soon as i can and then again to see how the bud changes. Its fantastic to experience different types of bud at different stages.

Just always make sure to harvest when shes ready.
