So he says he thinks there may be a better system to educate (paraphrasing) and you say umm the poll has home schooling...

Your poll asks us if we attended public school, not whether we think it's awesome. The homeschool choice would imply we were homeschooled, not whether we favored it or not.

I'm going on record to say public schools failed you in the critical thought aspect. You have the measles that semester?
The poll is meant to see how many have actually attended public schools and what is your view of them. We know you went to a public school. Do you view yourself as smart or dumb.

unfortunately, he is out of touch and doesn't know what is the norm now..he's still thinking 1978 "Dust in the Wind" prom with no millenials in his life or he'd know.

what about Public School Online K-12?..not home school.
I'm sure you are much too old to have went to public school online.

you're just a mindless, partisan troll, constantly using the word 'we' but alone in your assertions. i would think apache junction could use improvement in the educational sector, what with all the meth labs and trailer parks.

i seriously doubt you pay much property tax
Oh please. You are the one demanding people make threads for you to address issues and then openly admit you wont have a serious discussion about them.

Look in the mirror.

At my public school I was top top and considered gifted, when I went to college I tested really well and was put in advanced classes, got to by pass a lot of freshmen stuff. I had my ass handed to me by the private school kids. I never learned how to study, how to prepare for tests and much about American history. My high school education was a joke, didn't know it then though. I had Calc II, physics, EE 101 my first semester and almost didn't make it. It took a compete reversal of the way I attended to even pass. After that I did OK, finished cum laude, but I nearly went on academic probation and lost my scholarship first.

I have big issues with the public school system, we teach to the lowest common denominator which probably suited you fine, but kids are so stifled.

Ok. Did your parents not teach you study habit ? What was the highest math you took in high school ? I assume your parents could not afford private schooling. Was home school an option ?

somethings I view myself as being smart others I view myself as needing to learn more. My learning is never ending.
