It is a very hard cut to get ahold of.
I lost it to the police a long time ago.
The Kentucky growers used to grow alot of it but stopped growing it so much because the police could easily find there fields from miles away.
Just to carry a little nugget of it in your pocket would smell like two skunks sprayed you down .
I walked into a dispensary in Colorado once with a nugget of it in my pocket, I kid you not and it over powered everything he had in the dispensary and the owner of the dispensary came from behind the counter and asked me what I had in my pocket.
I gave him a little piece of nugget and he was calling me up by morning wanted a cut of that plant.
At one time the growers in Kentucky rivaled those in California in production and have some outstanding gorilla growers and moon shiners to this day.

they were baling it up back in the 80s,buddy used to run them up the eastcoast,really just half bales 17- 22 lbs

Man it is absolutely fine... Discussion, photos and all is welcome here y'all. I love listening to the old stories.. I miss those days myself. Hauling down I-65 always was always a damn nerve wrecking mess for me. Didn't mind going to the eastern or western part of Kentucky because all of the back roads were golden for transport. But hauling loads from and to Tenessee, well now.... I am lucky to be here where I am at today!

Anyway here is an update...

Yesterday morning I gave the girls a full strength foiliar feeding of this amazing stuff...

And they loved it! First time I have really seen them green up for a while, night and day difference literally over night!

Here is the Skva Chem' 91...

Here is the Gg4, Chem' 91, 413 Chem, Headbanger #5 cut, Corey and all the Green Point babies chilling beneath the ancient grounds of the great Appalachia... There is magic in these hills!

Those seedlings took hold of that transplant amazingly, I credit the Recharge, b52 and voodoo juice for the results! Can tell a difference in the leaves already, so no shock whatsoever...

All the girls got the last super cropping of the veg period that they will receive this morning as well... A flip is order soon!

Loving that Thermostatically controlled outlet bud! Best investment ever, never knew they existed till ya told recommended it brother... ;)

Hopefully within 12 days it will be time to flip these babes... They are gonna put on a show so intense that Brazzers will go out of the biz! Yessir I can feel it!

Sounds just like the seed that's still around here... I am hoping to have seeds by Spring.

Hate to hear you lost it bud. I have lost so many good cuts, I hate thinking about it cause some come from seed and I know how hard it is to get the same one one back again.

And yeah man we definitely have out done the Golden State a few times... You would still not believe the amount of ganja cultivated here. It would surprise you.

I may lay off the training for now just so they focus on getting a bit more established, and have you upped your lighting intensity? They definitely look better in the last set of pics. Your internodal spacing just looks a little large.

No, still using 1000 watts worth of T5s as of now. However the lights are almost 2 feet above the plants. I am fixing to bring them down about 6 inches above the tops.

Yeah everything should be back in order now that I have this nutrient deficiency back on track... And no more training at all now, that super cropping was the last of the Mohicans.

Those t5s I have are way stronger than the old t5s I had. These will burn the leaves if you get them too close. Usually I have the leaves touching flouros but not with these bad boys.

On the internal spacing note, I have noticed since the nutrient deficiency is almost completely knocked out, the spacing is much much closer together. It is hard to tell in those pictures but the newest 3 or 4 inches of growth is stacked.

Would it be possible for you to use a different source of light? T5s are pretty good veg lights, i used them religiously for veg before converting over to led; i dont think i ever had them more then 6-8 inches away. I think having them 2ft away is contributing alot to the spacing. But ill keep checking in for the next set of pictures :).

Can't afford LEDs atm. I would like to have some for vegging though. But I will never give up my HPS for flowering.

I usually switch out the veg lights with Hortilux HPS about a week before flower and veg them under those for that last week. The Hortilux has a blue spectrum threw in there in the mix. I will go from 24 hours under flouros entire veg time. Then in the last week throw them under the HPS on 18/6. I guess I could go ahead and do that. That way all my lights, filter, hoods, etc is set up and ready and all I gotta do is flip.

But I am gonna go ahead and move the t5s on down about 6 inches from the tops tonight.

And yes I will definitely keep updated on photos brother. Thanks for stopping by my thread, I like having good company stay around!

It might surprise some but not me.
Some really good growers in Kentucky.

I trick alot of the good indoor guys use in Colorado is they use the cheapest bulbs they can purchase and change to a new bulb every run they make.
All bulbs start loosing lumens soon as you plug them in. After the first run you start losing production , no matter who made the bulb or how much you paid for it.
They are around 20 dollars for a bulb on Amazon. You would only have to lose a few grams to pay for new bulbs.
This is how the commercial guys used to do it before almost all of them switched to gavitas.
I can if you like throw out these tips that will save you money and increase your production and quality if you like.
These are things I have learned over several years working with some of the best growers in the US.
Both indoor and outdoor.
