Ps3 or x-box

well if ya bought it yer probably gonna back it up. i bought the PS3 because its te BEST lol. well i argue wit people at work about it all the time so lets VOTE.

WHATS BETTER PS3 OR X-BOX

ps3 because of the blue ray so you are getting two for the price of one, but the controls on the xbox are better.

I own a 360 and my dad recently bought a ps3 just for the blu ray.

that said, here is my enlightened opinion:

Graphics: Depends on the game imo. The best ive seen out of both leaves PS3 the winner (MSGS4)
Games: 360...hands down. are you kidding me? ps3 only has a handful of good titles
Price: 360 of course
Online play: a staggering win for the 360. Sure, ps3's is free, but its like xbox live's little retarded brother
Future: 360 again. PS3 is struggling, numbers don't lie

personally I prefer the PS3 AND.... the damn xbox are like 3 times more Chinese crapy made than a PS3, I know that because I sell them (PS3, xbox, etc) and well if u dont mind having to buy a console over and over again like the 360 just because it has a poor desing for the cooling stuff I guess its ok

PS3. First off, XBox is made by Microsoft. Second, there's Blu Ray. Third, everyone I've ever known that bought an XBox had to send it back multiple times because of the red ring of death. One guy I know had to send his back 6 fucking times!!!!! XBox may have a few titles which are better, but my money is on the PS3. Also, it's fucked that you have to pay for XBox live.

nobody can deny how gay the red ring of death is.

everyone i knew who had to send it back (3 people) had the release consoles...first ones out. I got mine a year or so later and its been flawless

xbox live is well worth the 17 cents a day..

Depemds on what you want it for. If you play online, the 360 is way better, plus it has better exclusive games. (Halo, Gears, need I say more?) I've never owned a ps3 but from what I seen they are pretty, but gameplay feels forced. Unless you have a 6 year old, don't even consider the Wii!!!!!!!!!!!

PS3. Firstly, psn is free and everyone online is at least relatively mature. Not so much on XBOX live (about 1/2 the people are 13 year old kids who haven't hit puberty). Also as of the last patch it's pretty much exactly like live. PSN lags way less too. There really isn't anything you can do on live that you can't do on PSN. Secondly, blue ray. You may not watch blue ray movies but the games will eventually not fit on the 360's HD DVDs. Thirdly, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2, Killzone 2.

Good point, I forgot about the rampant immaturity on XBox live. Plus, Tekken 6 comes out next month

i have both systems.IMO the xbox has better online gameplay and its more of a gamers gaming console. i play socom now non stop on ps3 before that i only played cod4 on xbox. alot more lag on ps3 online gaming but hey its free and you get what u pay for so that alones makes the 50$ a yr on xbox worth it

I've never had an issue with lag on PSN, even playing COD4. Must be a problem with your ISP.

im so surprised there are so many ps3 supporters! i've had both and the xbox wins IF there are good games. I had a ps3 in the beginning and played Resistance: fall of man and that game was incredible! campain was better than Halo 3 IMO but online was lacking. but the ps3 didnt have that many games and you cant argue with the cost. Little big planet looks sweet but i cant afford to buy a ps3 now (who can lol).

as of now, xbox wins... it costs less, online hands down is better. great games.

ps3 definitley has the capability to be way better than the xbox, amazing graphics, no cost for online... but it needs games of the caliber of gears of war and halo.

anyone played gears of war 2? how is it?

IMO the extra cost of the PS3 is worth it for the simple fact that it doubles as a Blu Ray player as well. Additionally, you can install a different operating system on it. Try doing that with the XBox. Oh, and swapping out hard drives is much easier on the PS3.

Xbox 360 for sure, xbox live is the best. Period
