Prunning help

Hi ive been growing for a while, ill prune in veg and leave it alone in flower as i was told not to touch...

but its so much rubush all over by the 8 week... leaving it very leafy all over and heaps of little vines and
small branches with no to rubbish buds on it

so how do i avoid this, should i prune during flower also...please help

It's debatable I guess, but if your light doesn't penetrate more than 18" why have the plant spending it's energy trying to make popcorn.

I clear all that trash out 2 weeks into flower, and then keep picking off the flowers that try to form down there.

This focuses the plants energy on the top colas
