Pruning

Is it Ok to prune while in flower? Buds are just starting to grow pistils out the tops, but the under growth is really thick, I was thinkin that more air flow through the branches would be more beneficial than little leaves collecting little or no light. I only want to trim the little twigs and branches, no major fan leaves. Thanks RIU.

Yeah, you can trim a little if you want. Alot of people remove the lower branches too. I do, but not very many. Just don't get carried away or you'll stunt the plant, or even turn it hermie. Every week or so, I take a small pair of scissors with me when i water, and I'll cut a branch here, 2-3 leaves there, but that's about it. Then i wait another week or two, and do the same, if I remember.lol I honestly don't think it does anything for the plant, I just like fuckin with 'em sometimes.

its all right as long as you dont prune more than a 1/3 of the branches, leaves, or fan leaves. it does help w/ the top buds instead of the plants energy being spent on those branches or leaves down below it will turn its energy where it does count on your tops. its actually called lollipoping your plant but just dont get all carried away w/ it... 2weeks into flowering should be the cutt off date in my opinion:eyesmoke:
