Pruning during Flowering?

Hi everybody. let me just say thank you to everyone who posts on this site for the sake us newbies. i have so far been relatively successful with my killing fields girls and have gained a wealth of knowledge from all of you. thank you.

so here is my question....

the ladies have been a week in flowering and getting bushier and bushier by the day. i'm talking 1970's porn kind of bushy. i pruned them back a week before i went into the 12-hour cycle. i am wondering if it is safe to prune them again to get light into the lower areas or if the stress will be too much for them. i am doing a sog grow and have about 8 kolas per plant.

again, thanks to everyone on here. this is my first grow and greatly appreciate any input.

Yeah trimming can help with air flow too. i give them about 2 weeks in flower, then prune all the lower folliage under 9inches or so. Then don't have to do much pruning until the end.

thank you guys. i did a little search and research and am getting varying information on the topic. but i think i might do it.

yeah I prune thru out my whole grow the plants can def take the stress of cutting off some leaves cause u want light to get into the lower branches and thin the plant out a little so the light can get in but yeah I think its a good idea

excellent. three out of four doctors agree, pruning is good for your girls

i had a major scare the past couple of days. i am running two killing fields fem in cloth pots in a small cab with about 300 watts of cfl. very bright with one circ fan and two intake, two exhaust fans on the cab. i was running a watering schedule of every other day as they required but when i came home the other day and went to pet them, they were horribly droopy. i quickly gave them a good flush of fresh water (no nutes) and they picked up immediately. however, a day later, one of the girls was wilty with copper coloring on some of the leaves. about half of my kolas were totally fine and dandy, while the other half looked liked courtney love on a bad day.

today i checked and there seems to new growth on the scrappy kolas but some of the existing leaves are still very thin (curled in from the edges) and drying. my other girl is stunningly gorgeous and full and fluffy.

both the babies have great energy since day one and i am sure the victim will recover decently but what the hell happened? did i over water in a panic? why is one plant ok and the other one doing an impression of lindsay lohan? i love my girls and only want the best for them. any advice would be welcome and appreciated.

even if it is just to tell me i am getting a little overprotective and obsessed.
