Pros & Cons of different hydro methods?

I understand what ebb & flow is, aeroponics, DWC and organic. What I don't understand, is whether or not there is a clear "superior" method. My questioning this is centered around ebb & flow and aeroponic/DWC. I'm curious how periodic immersion in nutrients is better than continuous. My (ignorant) logic tells me the more the merrier and DWC/aeroponics seems to be a better way of doing that, yet many people do well with ebb & flow. I have no experience with them, I'm just curious as to why one method hasn't proven to be "the best". Any experienced growers have insight on this? Thanks.

As far a productivity i believe aero is the best then dwc. But these 2 methods require a system that runs for 24hrs straight, if it stops working and your not around you might lose your crop. Ebb&Flo you are just relying on a pump a few times a day, and if that pump stops working it wont be as fast of a cotastrophy.

DWC is probably the simplest to set up... so that's a plus, i dont think it's really anything special as far as yield compared to any other kind of hydro...

EBB & flow you gotta set up the flood table, but it's cool because you can easily move plants around b/c they just sit on the table in netpots...

drip systems seem kind of like a pain in the ass to set-up/clean/maintain

NFT don't know much about it but it's supposedly pretty good

AEROPONICS is the best as far as production, actually pretty simple to set up and not that expensive from what i've seen from some of the guys on this site... i think as long as you live somewhere with reliable power and maybe a backup battery (UPS) to run the pump you're good to go...
