propping up plants?

Hey All

So, I'm in week 8 of an 11 week bloom cycle and the headband plants can no longer support their own weight (a good problem to have). What's the best way to prop them up? Should I just put bamboo stakes in the pots and tie them up? I was a little worried about disturbing the roots. In their present position they are dropping away from the light and shading buds beneath the top.

thanks!

trust me, bamboo skewers and some twine is your best bet.

You could put stake in and prop them up. I use a couple small dowels and then use string or the little poofy pipe cleaners you get at any arts and crafts store. I like the pipe cleaners cause they are soft, and festive! I'm having the same problem with a few of my plants. I am thinking about getting a few tomato cages and cutting them open and gently placing it around the plant, weaving branches as I go along. The stakes on the tomato cage are skinny and shouldn't really disturb roots to much. It's either disturb roots of have the branch break off right?

Another solution is to tie a string to the branch and up to the ceiling. Downfall of this is you cant rotate the plant so its stuck where you tie it up at. Also it kinda looks like a puppet to me lol.
