PropJoe Juice (Propylene Glycol THC vaping liquid)

How is the onset of action via this method? I have been vaping e ciggs for a while now but one thing I realized is that although it feels like "smoking" the vapor partical size is much too large to actually get absorbed by the lungs. Instead, the nicotine is absorbed via the mucousal membranes. So it actually takds more than a few seconds to get into your blood stream. This is why many people fail at using a ecigg to quit smoking normal ciggs. The instant rush of nicotine is not produced rather its more akin to the gum you chew to quit.

I can't compare cigarette smoking to e-ciggs as I quit smoking nicotine 3 years ago. As for my own concotion of QWISO and PG, I can say that it is quite potent and very fast acting. It is darn close to the instantaneous effects of smoking, only less harmful to your body. Depending on your tolerance level it shouldn't take many hits to get to the right level of medication that you want. I can feel it after one, but prefer 3 drags personally. Some others I know one hit is sufficient, so your mileage may vary.

Has anyone tried using a normal ecig juice and adding the ISO hash oil?
The reason you don't see many people try this is that normal e-juices are either a PG/VG mix or pure VG.

To my knowledge VG does not mix easily with hash oil. (I believe you have to introduce alcohol in small amounts in order to make VG work, but I've never tried it myself). I've only used 100% USP grade PG, and it mixes quite well with heat and elbow grease.

Hmm.. I've never had a burnt taste.. quite the opposite. It has a hashy flavor still, but vape like, fresh, not combusted.

Tanks.. MY opinion.. go cheap and change often..

I buy little tanks with a wick for $6.. when it is empty..dump a little PG in and hit it until it is gone.. Then replace.

My buddy is on his 5th or 6th refill with a cheap tip and it tastes much more harsh than mine.

Question here for anyone with experience vaping this type of product through an ecigarette. I have the Iclear 16 clearomizers in the 2.0 ohm version. These clearomizers come in both 1.5ohm and 2.0 ohm and I was told you need a clearomizer that burns hot in order to activate the THC in the liquid. Question is would a 2.0 work or would I need to switch to a 1.5ohm. Or are both crap and I need to go to a pyrex glass clearomizer?

I'm sure either of them would work.. I have yet to find a tank or battery that does not get the job done and I am using cheap shit from gas stations (alibaba).

They are going to get dirty. I wouldn't spend much money on a clearomizer unless I knew I could clean it.

The most money I have spent yet was on an Ego something.. it produced good vapor for a little while then started to taste so harsh I threw it out.

I would say your best bet is to find a source that is cheap, consistent and works well. I like local. If that is not a concern for you then there are more options. My buddy gets them off Ebay for dirt cheap.

Well here is a shot of the mixture I started last night using pretty much the same method as the first post in this thread. I was a bit worried using a wooden skewer thinking that a bunch of the good stuff might be lost to the skewer. I had heard that if you just let it sit in the PG for an extended period of time it will dissolve on its own so I opted to just soak the vile in water kept between 100 and 120 degrees for a few hours taking the bottle out and shaking it a bit every now and then.

Here is a shot of it from last night about halfway through the dissolving process and this morning it is all dissolved except for a couple tiny pieces stuck to the bottom that don't seem to want to dissolve. I almost wonder if these are contaminants or impurities that aren't dissolving but I made this with lab grade shatter so that shouldn't be the case but you never know.

Thanks for the advice Hank, I figure I am going to make the half hour drive this afternoon to the ecig store in my area and ask them for their opinions on the best tank for this application at a low cost. They sell the glass bulbs for wax and dry herb vaporizers so hopefully they are open on this topic.

After getting another 4 or 5 batches under my belt.. i would agree that chunks in the bottom are contaminants. In my case, the chunks are leaf matter, sometimes hair, often string fibers (from the hang dry).. the hash oil in the mix clings to it and looks like hash. Really, it is HO that did not dissolve while clinged to leaf matter.

Easy solution to that problem is dump your juice in a ramekin and let the chunks settle..then, carefully dump the nice clean juice off the top. Heat it up and it gets easier to work with.

Impurities are picked up very easily. They could be from your source or from your finger tips. I've taken precautions to keep my hash contaminant free through the process of making.. still, i get them. Dumping clean juice off the top of settled impurities is the only thing that gets me clean juice.

That said.. even with impurities, the stuff vapes great.

Have fun.

Really interested in making a batch what would be the minimal oil amount needed to get a full containers worth

After doing a lot of research on vape pens and ejuices I just recently ran across this Mister-E-Liquid, looks like they are from Michigan... They make different eliquid flavors, they normally make it a 33% VG/ 67% PG, but you can custom order so they are 100% PG only flavors.. no vg what so ever... so I am wondering would it be possible to add BHO to this PG only flavoring? Everywhere I read the problem with adding BHO to flavors is they contain VG and VG seperates, so with no VG in these flavorings they should mix with BHO correct?
*Let me add I am no way affiliated with Mister-E-Liquid, I'm just trying to find the easiest way to mix BHO and flavors together for my vape pen

Tried to reply via PM, but for some reason I could not.

Over time PG can separate, but it takes much longer than VG. It took 3 months for my 30mL bottle of mixed oil to separate. I just gave it a good shake and it took another month or two before it began to separate again. I am unable to properly answer your question about the PG with flavorings. I am not sure how the flavorings will mix with your oil. I suppose the only way to know for sure is to try it. If the flavoring is an oil soluble, it should mix well.
I wonder, what is your reason for flavorings? I can only think of two, stealth or mask bad tasting oil. If it is bad tasting oil, I highly recommend winterizing or changing the initial method of making your oil.

There is PG out there with some added sweetener (5% Sucralose-PG). I do not recommend it, it causes kind of a burnt taste. At least with the clean oil that I have made. With other oils, it may not. I have only tried it with RSO and that may be the reason why it gave a burnt taste since the RSO is decarbed. I just might have to try it with my QWISO and see if it does the same. It may not with the QWISO. It is common with RSO to give a burnt taste, QWISO is not.

Please, report back if you do try the PG with flavoring. I have had other people bring up adding flavoring, and I just simply cannot answer them. Also, nobody has really reported back if they tried it and how it worked out. Just be sure to tell them no nicotine, unless you do want it.

I must say, that for whatever reason, the iClear 30b is much more stealthy smell wise. I know that all of the different clearomizers I have used, each produces a different taste and different exhale aroma with the same oil. None of the others have compared to the iClear 30b. The 30b seems to be the most efficient clearomizer I have used, of course attached to a SVD.

Just the other day I put up some info on the iClear 30b on my vaporizing blog, you may want to read it. http://michiganmedicalmarijuana.org/blog/532/entry-1026-my-experience-with-portable-vaporizers-pen-vaporizers-for-concentrated-cannabis-oil-and-e-cigarette-oil/#commentsStart

Thanks to Dragon311 from here at RIU, he pointed out the iClear 30b to me.

God Bless
