I don't know how many of you were just watching Fox News but they just aired a segment on how a congressmen from San Francisco wants to legalize cannabis to generate revenue for California (which is currently struggling through a huge deficit). Not to mention create jobs, cut down on violence, and keep people safe, away from dangerous situations involving drug dealers, and cut down on prison. (No offense, I am not generalizing all drug dealers).
I could not help but notice the elements of propaganda. Trace Galiger snickered and laughed after every sentence and drastically over-used clever, little, pointless puns. The segment mentioned nothing about the benefits of alterative energy, or hemp textile.
No wonder people hate cannabis so much.
The only argument against it was some policemen ( I think) reasoned that people would think it was " stupid".
Why can't Americans start thinking for them themselves. We are constantly manipulated by the opinions of higher-ups, authorities, and politicians. Maybe if we we're more responsible we wouldn't be in the midst of this economic mess.
