Just bought a bale of promix soil. Is it good to go out the bag or should I mix in some other stuff (perlite, bat guano, earthworm castings, etc..) noob here so I'm clueless
promix soil - should i mix in anything else or use it as its made?

did you talk to the peeps where you bought it sometime they have some insight sometime there just dumb, always worth a shot. also pic up there retail cat it always has tips un bag has tips um some people here have tips dont im dumb asyour bag of soil sorry but alway buy the best and add to it.

Pro-mix isn't soil- it is a soiless mix (like coco)- it doesn't have any stored nutrients so you can't just water it and expect the same results as soil. It worls just fine with GH nutes at full strength, and any other nutes for that matter. I would suggest putting your rooted clones in 3 gallon grow bags of pro-mix and let them veg for about a month, then throw them into flower. I use it as is and have gotten great results.

Azomite? Never heard.. but I'm growing autos, so will this soil be suitable regardless?
What your saying is that I should plant my autos in this soil as it is, and then use nutes when its flowering?

I just mix in like a solo cup of perlite per three gallon planter. Its all I use and I love it!!!

You can definitely use it right out of the bag. You can add some worm castings or something like that to it as well. It's totally up to you my friend. Experiment and see what you like best. Happy growing!

oh coco i know coco i wish i know that before man a little perlite is always good, i dont add anything like casting or guano because beecause of PH flucuations, i run canna check out the coco growers unite some good, whats the rest of your set up ill subcribe here and help as i can.
