Bubba is bubba and it looks like bubba, pre this, post that, such and such cut, who cares? I haven't even smoked the stuff but when you see enough shots of bubba it sticks out like a sore thumb

i have pounds of the "kush" you seek. the strain has been in the same growers hands for 18years and when he got it he said it was just called kush. its super dark green, dense lollipop nugs and by far the best kush smell iv ever smelled it takes all the oldschool guys back acouple years. and a lab test result of 19.1thc. i plan to grab some clones when i get a chance. but the growers had the exact strain sense before they even had og kush or even chem dog to make og kush lol.
Do you live in oregon by chance?

Cannabis contains over 400 known compounds. Of these, there is a group of about 70 compounds called cannabinoids, made up of molecules with 21 carbon atoms. THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol) are the two most prominent cannabinoids and they have been shown in scientific studies to have medical benefits for humans.
Another group of compounds in the Cannabis plant are called TERPENOIDS. The terpenoids are made up of repeating units of a 5-carbon compound called isoprene. Terpenoids give marijuana its characteristic aroma. There appears to be over 200 terpenoid compounds in the Cannabis plant.

Plant cannabinoids are found only in the Cannabis plant, but terpenoids are found in countless plant species - about 20,000 terpenoids have been identified by scientists. Terpenoids are considered essential oils. Terpenoids are found in herbs such as mint, sage, citrus peel, some flowers, aromatic barks and woods. Terpenoids are common components of the human diet and are recognized by the FDA as safe for human consumption.

It appears that the terpenoid compounds in marijuana have clinical effects, that is, they work with the cannabinoids to help with symptoms. This is called synergy or the "entourage effect", a term coined by Raphael Mechoulam, a prominent cannabis researcher. Synergy and the entourage effect mean that "the interaction of two or more substances produces combined effects that are greater than the sum of their separate effects".

Here is a list of some of the terpenoids found in cannabis and their clinical effects:

Limonene - this terpenoid is also found in lemons; it works with CBD to give antidepressant effects and stimulates the human immune system; in mice it was found to work with CBD to decrease anxiety and depression; works synergistically with CBD and CBG to kill breast cancer cells; works with THC to decrease GERD (reflux)

Myrcene - this terpenoid is also found in hops; it works with CBD to block inflammation; works as pain-killer in mice studies when combined with CBD and THC; is sedating and was found to potentiate sleep time synergistically with THC

Alpha-pinene - terpenoid also found in pine needles; it works as anti-inflammatory when combined with CBD; bronchodilation (opens lung airways) when combined with THC in human studies; anti-MRSA (Staph infection) with CBD, CBG (cannabigerol) and CBN (cannabinol); works as wide spectrum antibiotic

Linalool - this terpenoid is also found in lavender; has anti-anxiety effects with CBD and maybe CBG; causes sedation in mice studies; works as local anesthetic with THC; anticonvulsant and anti-glutamate with CBD, THCV and CBDV

Nerolidol - this terpenoid is also found in oranges; appears to have sedative qualities; inhibits fungal growth with CBC (cannabichromene)

Beta-caryophyllene - this terpenoid is found in Echinacea; it has anti-inflammatory properties with CBD; protects stomach cells with THC; binds to CB2 receptors with THC giving analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties

Phytol - this terpenoid is also found in green tea; it appears to block the breakdown of GABA (a neurotransmitter that helps to control anxiety)

Caryophyllene oxide - terpenoid also found in lemon balm; acts as an anti-fungal

The medical effects of the interaction of terpenoids with the cannabinoids is a big area of research and being investigated by many labs. As research is published and our knowledge grows, patients will benefit from being able to select the specific cannabis medication that contain the compounds that work best for their symptoms. More to come....

Thanks to O'Shaughnessy's Journal of Cannabis in Clinical Practice and Dr. Ethan Russo for the information on the terpenoids. Your efforts are most appreciated!

Thank you sub for this info. Such an amazing plant.

Subcool has made it clear that his Bubba Kush is Bubblegum x Kush.

Subcool's Bubba Kush has nothing to do with the mysterious and true Bubba Kush that you couldn't find more information on.

Subcool has already said that he wasn't going to bother working with OG Kush Diesel or Chemdawg based genetics.

And he was adamant that he wasn't using Bubblegum Kush from The Bulldog seeds.

He is using Bubba Kush: Bubblegum x Kush and the only company selling that is Green House Seeds.

For more information on Bubba Kush, especially pre-98, but even post GHS:
http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Bubba_Kush/Clone_Only_Strains/

For more information on Bubblegum x Kush:
http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Bubba_Kush/Green_House_Seeds/

If you look at the genealogy for Clone only Bubba Kush cuttings, you will see a list of 33 strains on the market. There is no genealogy tree for Bubblegum x Kush, so TGA is going to be the first start an entry on that page.

This post makes me really happy because I know for sure that At the least I'm not half as stupid as this guy.

Bubblegum x kush? And greenhouse? Dude my friend grew ghs bubba and it hermied so bad he had to remove them so they didn't do more damage. It's actually clones ghs got from apothecary that they reversed. Sub don't play that way. Besides he is in Cali and true bubba is at home their for good. That pic of his is bubba structure all the way it's so unmistakeable it's calyx formation. Looks aaa for sure. Ps bubba is chem family goodie. I'm growing the Cali connection version right now. Can't wait sub. And sub already did another chem fam treat the super snowdawg x sq or spacedawg. I'm growing that as we speak. I'm glad I could not be that ignorant again either but he's learning I hope. Sub let us guys know early for that release it would be appreciated. I'm all over that beauty for shizzure.

^^ yes but its not KUSH thats the misnomer its a sativa dominant hybrid that someone created.
Yes OG's are not PURE kush's but they are Kush hybrids. Also, just because the plant shows a sativa growth trait doesn't make it sativa dominant. OG's grow like sativa's meaning they have long skinny branches but the nugs are dense golf balls and look like they came from an indica. I've had plants that were 70% indca genetically that grew like sativa's it's all about what genes a given plant expresses from the cross. Unless your growing some Hindu Kush, Afghan Kush, or some Paki Kush it's probably a hybrid.

This plant is genetically 70% indica

I don't know if it's the mother but I definitely think it's in there. My LA Con reminds me too much of Bubba not to have similar genetics. I grew out some F2's I made of the LA Con, which turned out to be less leafy than the LA's from DNA, side by side with the Bubba and looking at them you couldn't tell them apart, there were only slight differences in the terpene profile but still very similar but even though the original LA's from DNA looked more stocky and were more leafy they still had a very similar terpene profile.
