Project 4516

Project 4516 by Grandiflora Genetics. BX seeds now available. Wondering if these are worth the $350 ticket for 10 fem. Seen pics on IG for the last year, supposedly a very gassy purple strain. Rave review smoke reports on IG, but I don't trust that as far as I can throw an old desktop PC. Backed by Berner (not sure how to interpret that). For sure a great marketing campaign...Grandiflora states "every pop a winner" and "people will build their brand with this one." "Mystery genetics," though some have suggested gelatos as parents.

Anyone with smoke reports or experience growing the line or know more about it?

$35 a seed. No, not worth it.

I dont see how it can be any better than anything out there. I got one of my favorite plants from a 48 dollar pack of lvtk from cannaventure.
Doubt anything from that 350 dollar pack will beat this by much.

No doubt, that's tough to "beat by much," but I'm at the point where I'm splitting hairs. I have several real keepers, but I'm always keeping an eye out for anything that edges out one of my steadies, even if just by a bit. The claim that got me was "winner in every seed popped." Not saying I believe it without seeing it, actually that's why I'm asking around; but, if that's true, then $35/seed is worth it in my opinion. Pheno-hunting takes so much time and resources, and real elite cuts are so hard to come by unless you're heavily connected...I've a few, but I'm no K.Jodrey.

Specifically, I've been looking for a purp strain that has that kill bag appeal, but is also dank AF. That expectation is notoriously elusive, and most people agree purps are weaker in effect...that adage was obliterated 10 years ago when I got a hold of something called "Jolly Rancher"...it was deep purple, bright orange hairs, frosty as hell, and you couldn't walk into a public place with a gram in your pocket and not "make friends"...I mean I got called out for stinking the place up everywhere I went. I want that, but dude I got it from is no longer with us.

BTW, its a Gelato 45 cross (Project 4516) and Melonatta (I believe). I have some S1s and wondering if I should give em a run as I too am looking for a deep purple strain with a gassy back end.

Nice, I didn't know they released S1s. I think the "Ya hemi" is project 4516 x melonatta. Yeah, I heard Gelato was in the 4516.

I got the 4516bx1 pack. The genetics for 4516 is Gelato 45 x Grateful Puff (Platinum OG x Grateful Breath). I have 14 going right now, 4 outside in 5 gallon coco and 10 more in 1/4 fabric pot bags. Im gonna phenohunt these and reverse it and make my own versions of the crazy 550 and 650 ticket they want for Pineapple Piss and Ya Hemi lol. So far all are growing pretty well; im seeing 2-3 different phenotypes being expressed in the fan blades. im documenting it on my IG right now @dnaleafers if yall wanna watch. Im putting the 4 in 5 gallons into the backyard light-dep greenhouse im running this summer the week of June 22 to flower after I take cuts, and will be added to the other 10 seeds i popped in the small bags for a 14 plant indoor phenohunt under my PLC photoboost 16 strip LED.

I already have the components to make SDS spray and I probably will practice on one of the clones from the outdoor 4516's once they root. I got hella genetics and almost all the gear from Phinest and im gonna do my "Chad" thing and hit all these popular strains with the 4516 and make fems lol. I will more than likely make a grow journal thread soon for here to show you guys how it goes. Bay Area stand up!! Yeee!

Haha they are all going strong as hell; I’m about to transplant the 6 into 1.5 gallon pots tonight. When the 4516 is done, the Banana Runtz and the Umami/Superseed Cream Soda are next up in the tent. Here are some pics of the 4516 bx if y’all haven’t seen my grow journal, I’m in week 6 of 10:

No just the one. It actually a 10 pack; they threw in 4 extra seeds. Area51 seedbank just had some additional packs but I got too many packs this year lol. Got that GG4 S1 and WAP on the way so i gotta chill and work what I have lol

ended up gettin the "Crepes" (pancakes**x 4516) 12 fems... got it for $200 so we'll see shortly! **pancakes=(London pound cake x kush mints)
