Check out Kessil.com (Greners.com is a good retailer), ProGrow, Gotham Hydroponics, Sunshinesystems.com

The Penetrator led light from HydroGrow might suit you. You need to look into these if you want to survey the better lights.

There are a few more. Procyon, etc. Greners sells the smaller Lumigrow for a good price, and several others.

There's a guy in England who sells kits, and builds quality LED lights. His ebay pages have great technical info. Planetary imports is his store.

If you're going to go with LED's you're gunna have to pay over $1000 to get a comparable harvest to HID. Avoid cheap Chinese knock offs

well this is my first try at cultivating at this level, so im gonna be very experimental with this grow. because of my budget i can only afford cheap chinese knock offs so im hoping for some specs to at least get me on track with what knockoffs are truly garbage and what i can make due with for now. so far im using florescence bulbs and a some lamp i picked up at a pet market, i figured it was time to install some CFLs but i heard LED and figured i'd give it a try.

also if i go with HID wont i have to install a cooling system for it? hunting for stuff in china is hard as shit as it is so basic specs of the equipment i need will at least solve some of my troubles.

right now im working with a small grow closet about 3' x 6', but im doing research for next grow season which i will have a decent size room for.

I dunno man I think you should scrap the fluorescents and the l.e.d and just got with some h.i.d lighting still more efficient dollar for dollar

Lot's of erroneous opinions about LEDs out there. Do your research, then decide...and save on heat control and ventilation costs, etc.

Here's a good info page.

Check out this first time grow with one LED light. Spectacular!

You could do well with a couple of Kessils for $250 each, and possibly a light mover.

This Pro-Grow, for $429 might be all you need. And you can dial it in. Read the reviews. Plus, it has a good warranty.

thanks for your opinions guys. im gonna be a little more specific on what im looking for. im trying to find some quick replacement bulbs for my crappy setup.
my plants are about 3 weeks from seed growing in a DWC with drip, im looking for some light to get on these guys quickly because they just made the move to the hydrotons and the growth rate seems to be slowing. i figured the easiest thing to get is some CFLs and place them really close, but it would be nice to get some opinion on these cheap LED bulbs i found.

30 bux will get me all the stuff i need to install 2 bulbs so should i go CFL or LED?

im still not in the in the market for my true bulbs, i want to have a professional setup i can be proud of by the time i clone but for now i have a closet. btw i am doing research on rigging my own "behind locked doors" grow lab, im talking bout NFTs system, veg chamber, cloners , experimental grow area, a whole room set up just for pot cultivation. ill make a thread about a perfect setup caz im going all out on this, even apartment shopping. keep in touch if your interested

IMO if you only have $30 to spend on lights i would just get some high wattage cfl's with 6500k spectrum. but if you plan to flower soon and don't have much money, just get 2700k.
