Problems plus questions

It's been a while since the last time I grew. A friend of mine planted some seeds outdoors by simply throwing them in the sand next to a creek, in Late July. The plants grew, he did not get all the males out in time so some of them were fertilized. But he wanted me to take them and see what I could do because the weather was getting bad and they were obviously nowhere near done. Keep in mind, I ripped these up out of the sand by the bottom of the plant, and they were lying on my couch for around 4 hours before I got them into soil. On the day that I had pulled them, it hailed for around an hour, and the last 4 days the outdoor temp was round 37F. I was not ready for it, so they also saw light for 2 days straight before my box was set up. These pics are after having them for around a week. The leaves were not yellow when I first got them. The medium was some stuff I have on the side of my house, on a concrete slab that used to be a dog pen. A tree drops leaves here every autumn, and has not been cleared away in ten years. It's all I had, so I grabbed a bunch of this off the bottom of the slab, threw it in a bucket, and there it was. So I'm wondering a few things:

1) What do you think about the yellowing leaves? Could it be from the cold it experienced outside?

2) These plants are grown from bag seed, but I really would like to clone the purple one. It is not very tall though and no branches. How can I do this? Would it be better to just re-gen?

3) What effect on these plants could the whole 2 days of light have on the buds?

4) This one's kinda weird, but does cannabis know a day is 24 hours? Flowering is triggered at 12 hours of darkness, right?
Is it possible to run it under a cycle of 14 hours light, 12 hours dark, to allow it more time to grow? I realize this would have to be done manually because there are no 26 hour timers, but I was just curious about this.

The last pic shows why I want to save this

Well the dirt you have them in won't do...and being in flower and then having days of light will make them hermie...but good luck...collect the beans (they should be feminized from the stress) and grow indoors buddy...

Add more soil (a lot of more lol) and you've put them together in one pot ! That usually make plants grow more than their sister cuz they overtake with roots down there !

Like I said, I wasn't really prepared and just had these plants lying on my couch at 3am, couldn't go buy anything at that moment. I added a little more soil, my main goal here is not so much to grow these into giants, but to keep them alive long enough to figure out what I can do to turn this into my next crop.

What would be the best way to go about either cloning or re-generating? And if a female has already been pollenated, will that clone remain a female?

there is a small chance that you might be able to take a cutting and clone a part of the plant that hasnt been pollinated and hormones havnt moved through the entire plant yet. if so the clone might not be a hermie. but the chances are slim especially becasue you would have to convert the clone back to a vegetative state and that can stress the plant into a hermie as well. since they have been pollinated i would just give them a little tlc and try to get some seeds out of them. i dont see any bananas. are you sure they have been pollinated.

a few of the lower buds on some of them have been. I dried out some of the ones I didn't keep and they were full of seeds. All 24 plants were originally grown in a 1sq ft area. The purple one has quite a few on the bottom. None of the top buds seem to be pollinated.

Could it be that you pulled them up by the roots and continued to abuse them ?
