hi peeps..

i'm doing my first ever grow and have hit a brick wall..:wall: i'm growing power skunk /indoor/600w hps/soil... and everything has been going well... i made sooooo many mistakes as i fumbled my way through but have a couple of nice plants displaying large buds... i'm on week 10/11 of flower and was expecting them finished weeks ago... now the problem i for some reason even though the temp is the same the leaves are drying so much there crispy... although the hairs are 20-30% amber on the plants the main buds still have large bright white hairs right on the top off them.. i was feeding it on bio-bizz ferts but started to flush it 3 weeks ago and it looks like it will take more than a week to mature still.... please help :leaf:

It is common for the leaves to dry out and yellow at the finish, only a stab in the dark.

yeah im on me third grow....
and i find the end is always the toughest part...
reason being that you figure im golden and lack the attention....
and enthusiasm you did at the begging...
id say if your on 10 weeks flower just cut it down before they really go bad...
if all the fan leaves ...feeder leves are dead.... your plant will cease to grow..
and since theyre making big fruits,....buds.... bug willl be more tempted to eatem...
i cant say fore sure without pics,,,, but id say yellowing and dead lower leaves are3 normal in the last weeeks of flower...
so if i were u id invest in a camera... so i could give u advice ... i seen to many of my grows go to shit on the last month of flower....

I have found leaves yellow and die during the last weeks of flower, However if yours are crispy you might have a salt build up in your soil causung nutrient lock out. I water with just water like every fourth watering. If you are at week 10 it is way to late to worry about salt. Just flush'em and cut'em

I think you started flushing a little early, and your plant is usually going to look deficient toward the end, but its worse for you because 3 weeks is a really long time to flush.

By the way the color of the hairs is only 1 factor and its not the biggest one . Also look to see if the hairs start to shrink and recind back inside of the bud. Thats a sign its ready. Also the yellowing and falling off of the fans is a sign its ready. And of course the trichromes. If its an Indica, the trichs may never turn amber, just clear to milky, so harvest when they're milky. If its a sativa, harvest when the thichs turn milky to amber.

I think its too late to go back and try to give it nutes and then flush again so you are best off chopping it IMO. Now enjoy all of your hard work.
