Problem with my seedlings

Well, I have 9 day old seedlings...big bud strain growing indoors. The temp usualy stays around 26-28 Celcius or 78-82?F, humidity at 55% ish. Just over the last 2 days I have noticed some orange spots starting to form on one of my plants. I thought they were getting to much light so i raised my 2 24 watt cfls, i have barely been watering them, but the soil is always moist, i have been spraying the chamber to keep the humidity up, the picture is of my only infected plant, any help is usefull...i hope thats enough info. I thought it could either be to much heat ( but raising the lights has proven innefective) or a ph problem...i have no way of testing ph in water or soil yet...I am using miracle gro seedling soil with a bit of extra pearlite, and just regular tap water

Are you spraying water directly on the plants? If so the tiny water droplets could magnify the light and cause those little spots due to burning. As far as watering, let your water sit out overnight before watering and be sure not to water until at least the top inch is dry. If it's only on that one plant I wouldn't worry too much... also check for insects. Put the lights back as close to the plants without burning them and setup a little fan to blow on them too. Best advice I can give speaking from a little experience.

I don't think your lights are in any danger of burning the leaves. Sunspots are rare with flourescent lighting. Be careful with tapwater. I live it FL and the tapwater here kills plants FAST because of the mineral deposits. You should switch to distilled water - room temp. Test your pH too just to be sure that the tap water hasn't thrown it off.

Get your self some PH strips, Don't look past this man, the ph is soooo important for your plants nutrient intake....They are cheap dude, you can even get them at a hot tub/ pool store. You can even use lemon, or cheap vinegar to drop the ph down...GL
