Problem with lighting

vegging under a 600w hps, was all fine and good during winter but now the days are getting slightly warmer the inside of my grow tent is reaching like 32 degrees C sometimes and i do not understand it. my fan is a high end make that cost me like £70 and was fine during my last grow. maybe its because I have it set up differently i'm not sure? I have the ducting running through an empty hole in my tent to the fan on the outside extracting and blowing directly into the carbon filter linked to my fan. but it is ridiculous because I have left it on for the full 18 hours and the heat does not seem to change at all but the humidity lowers far to much to the 30%ish range which is all fine for flowering but not vegging and the heat just does not seem to be going anywhere. it has only been a problem the past 3 days or so. before that the days were cold outside and the tent was steady at 26-27 no problem. any advice? thanks

You'll want to pull (not push) air through the carbon filter, it should be inside the tent. This is why its not venting efficiently.

hmmmm... still seems to be spiking above normal heat though in the tent even though its set up properly now.... seems to still reach a higher temperature based on the weather outside. the fan still seems to be just getting rid of all of the humidity but yet not changing the temperature properly. this could be a serious problem come summer time but I still do not understand it because the fan is pretty powerful and seemed to work under optimal conditions when I used the same setup at a different location a year or so back. seriously, it seems if I just leave the fan off all together compared to switching it on theres only like 2 degrees difference or not even that. it is basically doing nothing but cuts my humidity by half. what is going on? any advice people? Thanks

Your tent will only cool to a relative temperature of the ambient temp of the encompassing room. You'll likely need an air conditioner in the tent room once summer comes.

I have found that by keeping the lights on one fan and set of ducting and the room on another set it works better. You will need a total of 3 inline fans. One for the light and its ducting, the second connect to your scrubber and vent the room. The 3rd is to pull fresh air into the room. It only needs to blow 25% of the total cfm blowing out. So you can buy a small fan or a big one and use a dimmer so summertime you can wait longer before turning on the ac unit
