Is this an oscillating fan? I can't imagine how a fan could generate all that extra heat. Air movement is important and so are having good temps.

yes, oscillating fan, i cannot understand it either hence the post! ive got 3 thermometers in various places in room 4 if you count digtal therm/humid stat with in/out probe the, oven theory seems to be my only answer . temps are good without movement fan on. ive positioned it in various places ,in front of intake ,sweeping the light ,directly at light, down to floor,up towards carbon filter my heads cabbaged with it .anyone else had this problem? little tommy can you clear something up for us is 420 the code "dibble"use for ganja associated call ins ?there semms to be some confusion over this side of the pond ta.

420 was used as a code for mary jane users. There was a group that used to meet at 4:20 to smoke out and it has blossomed into a code so that mary jane users could talk about it without others knowing what they were talking about. Your fan problem is baffling to me. It could be a faulty motor on the fan creating that heat. I would try another fan, maybe on a little smaller. I use 2 that are 18" across and have never had a problem with these fans elevating the room temp.

ta for the answer bout 420, yes i have 100m/ 4' rvk inline my air filter is out of an excavator about 2ft long by 1ft diameter wrapped in carbon filter mat fixed at very top of room which goes to form a point (as its under stairs) exhaust staight outside, the osc. fan was 9" but i cut the fins down to reduce airflow?/??? the intake is through door with a home made light box this is 2"x36" area(intake) i can just get in there with the plants and when i shut the door i can feel real good airflow thru intake am i flapping for nothing is it that important had to use yoyos last time to keep it down trimmed on 3rd node from seed trained it to grow out more than up anyway i digress ,cheers in advance
