GRAND RAPIDS - Longtime Press sports columnist David Mayo, accused of growing marijuana in his Northeast Side home, was targeted for investigation after police tracked shipping invoices of a company that advertises in "High Times" magazine, court records showed.

basically the guy bought from a supplier who advertises in high times and that was the beginning of his getting caught. if he was more careful maybe he would have been ok.. thought it was a good read none the less..

yeah, great read. definatly makes me be more careful. I just purchased some bubblebags on ebay yesterday. Was about to ship them right to my house, at the last moment, I changed my mind and had them shipped to a friends instead just in case.

so sad, what a bunch of fucking bullshit. spend all this time and money to screw this guy over for growing while unsolved murders sit on the back burner.... fucking assholes

anyway ... funny another pot magazine would post this article ... even tho it was about buying from a High times add .... it states that this info is gathered from pot mags in general.

cannabisculture has adds for grow supplies as well ...... cant imagine their sponsors buying more add space when they know people arent gonna buy anything for fear of being "investigated" as well

yeah, cannabisculture is going strictly to online format in the really near future. i think the issue that is next to be released is the last print magazine they will have.. even if it would hurt the advertising revenue i would sooner a pot magazine warn me than let me keep buying the shit and risk getting busted. really tho, all it goes to show you is, NEVER SEND SUPPLIES TO YOUR GROW OP PERIOD..
it is really pathetic in this country all the money and man power wasted on a freakin plant, when there are unsolved murders, rapes etc that are actually a danger to society.. what a great country we live inbongsmilie
no wonder we love to get stoned.. makes this mess we live in a little bit more tolerable :)

i for sure would not buy weed from their site esp since you know marc is on the dea watch list.. they want his ass bad :p
then again, i wouldn't consider buying weed online from any site, proven or not.. too much risk.
