Nice, what light are you getting? Brand/Wattage?

I ordered an advanced led diamond series, only 100 watts. 3 watt single led chips 11 spectrum.. heres a link. Theyre expensive as hell so im just going to test one out in a small box with 2-single T5 strips as well. if i like it a lot, Ill order another one maybe 300 watts. heres a link

Those look like nice lights, that was one of the three panels i considered when i bought my LED.

Hey so havent updated in a week been busy irl/more dramatic if you wait

Anyway this past week i gave plain water as i had a couple (4-5 total?) leaf tips pointing down. Just the tips. Any ideas on why this would be so? Its like a Nitrogen claw but only part of the leaf and it only affected a handful of leaves on the plant.

Also the other pic shows what looks like a bug took a little bite out of my leaf but its only there and on one other leaf. Cant see any bugs :/ maybe after i put in the new fan it blew them away.

Anyway they seem to be doing awesome. The two big ones are drinking tons and the pots feel light now every day.

Flower Day 28

yeah that panel works great for a friend of mine. that bug thing, a buddy of mine told me to get a small ghost pepper plant in your box, and the bugs will die form the intesnity. its apparently a millionx hotter than a habanero pepper.. good advice, ive got some seeds coming my way.

Hahahah interesting! Ive heard that growing nettle next to your plants can give them more essential oils too. Well see.

Right now im limited on space in my cab. Eventually i would grow my own peppers for sure(nothing beats homemade salsa).
The fan i put in seems to be blowing the plants a good deal so i dont think ill have any problems

Gave some nutes to the big girls last night they liked it. Big colas and the sugar leaves are starting to get some frost

Considering adding molasses but idk its one more thing to do. Anyone have any opinions on it?

ive never used molasses, so i'd also like to know about this..

Flower Day 32/33?

End of week 4 flowering and they are looking great Lots of trichromes popping up and they are starting to smell lovely if you brush against them.

Hard to tell in the pics but one (KF for sure)looks like its getting kinda purple But also itll be a small yield which is consistent with what others said.
Ones farther along than the others and already has some orange pistils on the buds so im guessing this is the Kush?
Last is the big bushy one the least developed but itll yield the most for sure. Should be a Killing Fields if the orange pistil one is my Kush.

Giving them jacks bloom at 1/4 teaspoon whenever i see fit. Otherwise water run through a brita filter.

whats up man, I got a question. are you supplementing your LED with any other lighting? or just that panel?

Thanks! Nope only the led panel, they were sprouted under cfls until I got the led.

Don't know hoss well see, what have you noticed? I figured I would keep full spectrum but idk.

I've done both since my closet is split just to run a semi scientific experiment. I've come to the conclusion that just flower is beneficial for the last two weeks. The plants respond to it almost like they know its the end run and need to kick it into high gear.

I also figured it's more expensive to build a light with switchable spectrum so there is probably sound reasoning behind this practice - especially since other companies have duplicated this - the new leds from Advanced (diamond series) have gone to the same switchable modes as the PGs.

Interesting, so you've seen faster finishing better resin more yield? All three ?

Personally I saw it more of a advertising point or possibly if you wanted super short internodes in veg. But If it works I'll definitely use it

Heh busy havent been on RIU as much. Dont think ill get pics up tonight but ill put them up tomorrow night thatll be Day 42.

They are covered in Trichs and the calyxs are swelling nicely. All have a very unique smell .
Either the soil has plenty of nutes or they are sensitive as the tips have been burnt a little on all of them even from light feeding so its been mainly water the past week or two.

Hey Flower Day 42 so 6 weeks flowering. The "kush" is the farthest along by far with 60/70% of the pistils turning deep orange. Trichromes still look bright and without much amber. This strain should take 7-9 weeks. I plan to drown for 10 days so ill let it go at least another week before i start the process.

First set is the one i think is kush, farthest along.


Second set is my purple Killing Fields Pheno, small yield but looks the prettiest.


Last set is my green Killing Fields. Will probably be my favorite, the smell is freaking amazing and this will yield the most by far.



Happy with lights/soil and everything. Bud looks amazing, im slightly apprehensive about the yield but well see.
