Now that Ryan is on board it appears the VP and the Pres debates will be very intresting. One of the sides is Lieing big time about the healthcare mess and I cant wait to see the public reaction once the truth is exposed.

Oh and Biden, lol, Yall gonna be back in chains comment. That guy just can not control his mouth.

While I agree that The VEP has a problem, it seems that Romeny's visit to Europe shows that he as well has difficulty with knowing what one's words could be construed to mean.

It is the right that is lying about health care, they have been doing this for quite a while so it is no surprise that they have gotten pretty good at it.

Ryans talks about reforming Medicade to affect people not yet in the program ie not yet 55 was spun by the dems to read that everyone would be affected is a lie. No doubt that will come up. The fact that Obama care is being funded from current programs is a point the dems are ducking.

The projected backruptcy of the program, if it remains the same, is not being answered by the dems.

Intresting stuff, I want to know the truth the real truth.

The media reported today that the Dems are not agreeing to allow questions about healthcare to be asked in the Debates.

I guess they have the right to do this but if they are telling the truth and if Ryan is flat out wrong that why not?

So you don't think that an impending major shake up of an ingrained medical institution will have any immediate effect. People will just go along with what they are doing until one day, woops, things are totaly different. Is that about it Chris?

I had not heard this. If it is true, we agree, they can do it because they can always withdraw from the debate at little or no cost to their vote count, but I am offended that any question is out of bounds on either side - I have always hated the debates. If the questioners have any balls, they ask hard questions that the candidates don't answer, rather they simply repeat the same talking points. The candidates never get to actually debate with each other.

Agree that any question should be allowed. With that said I can not see how Healthcare, being such a huge topic, would be waived. Economy, Healthcare, Wars, Employment, and of course Energy and Drilling. How can these all not be asked and I think Healthcare is a huge topic.

There will be major changes in the way health care works the day after Ryan's "plan" were to be in effect. Changes we can't even imagine but changes anyway and mostly I would guess not good changes. The right presently thinks that If one says "medicare as we know it will be drasticly changed in 10 years" that nothing at all will change until that particular date. That is incorrect, change is inherent in the anticipation of change.

If the participants are prepared and they actually get to address the other's statements with their own, we might even get the chance to see what is going on. I figure that maybe the reason Obama is trying to dissallow health care is that he is afraid that Romney's people will lie as they have been from the begining, obfuscate and confuse. It is easy to do with such a complex topic and voters who are unwilling to do their own research.

The democrats don't want to have to defend obama's failure or his record.

Sure, that is the FOX line du jur. It would seem however that Romeny doesn't want to have to defend much of anything in his past "I am not a business", nor does Paul "what medicare reform"? Ryan.

WTF where is obama's past records? I have not seen obama plan to get people back to work and after 4 years he still don't have a plan.

You don't get to say that he has no plan while at the same time saying that his stimulus packages and back to work programs are just government spending.

What records? his college transcripts? Don't know, don't care, maybe he is hiding the fact that he didn't get straight As.

The American public is "dumb" when it elects someone you don't like and "smart" otherwise? I remind you that the American public that elected Obama is the same american public that elected Bush twice.

Enough people say that and it becomes true. I suspect you would have voted for Romney, so that's ok, you just stay at home now and let me decide for you.

Your sig is a little puzzling though - you take the time to add "if you don't like America...." yet you don't like America enough to take part in the most essential portion of what America is?

Or do you just like the mountains and rivers and such?

Dude, why do you like to make an ass out of yourself by assuming i would vote romney

I hate mittens and obama would have been my wasted vote.

When both suck, you go with the one that sucks the least

So the electoral college has nothing to do with who becomes president?

Not too many people know about the ec

Agreed about the falsity of the debate. It's pro wrestling with expensive suits on. Would it not be grand to swap Teleprompter loadings unannounced?? cn
