ive used this prepaide credit card numerouse times. its the "ice" prepaid card i got at my local currency exchange. my first order was in 2010 october. last order i made was for the last promotion august promotion.the card is in my wifes name. the creditcard company called my wife saying that there has been illegal purchases made. she explained to them that she didnt know wut they were talking about because all she buys is t shirts with the card. they said ok and the conversation was over. the next day they called her again saying that more red flags were posted to the account about purchasing illegal items. so my wife started to snap and said what is the problem i buy shirts and thats all. they said" mam to be honest its shows that illegal seeds have been purchased from attitude seedbank. when they said that my heart dropped but my wife kept her cool and explained to them that she just buys t shirts.they said we cannot purchase from them anymore or they will cancel the card and report it. they said watever shirts i am buying to find it elsewere because it is comming up as seeds. ive used attitude since 2010 and made around 10 -15 purchases from then to now. never had this problem b4 and attitude has always been good to me. not sure wat happen just wanna give a heads up

Hmmm...that is interesting...I don't see how they would know it was seeds unless they looked it up first...as in what is "the attitude"? and then there it is...but that isn't up for the cc company to give a shit about...that just seems odd...

Hmmm...my last purchase was from Herbies and I used a mastercard...we had to call and authorize the charges...but nothing after that...no issues, or calls.

Maybe it was a phishing attempt? That does sound odd.

EDIT: I'd probably cancel that card and go with another company regardless.

first of all, not to defend the attitude after my recent issues, but they don't show up on the bill as attitude seeds, but rather attitude gifts, so for the cc co to say attitude seeds, it sounds like bs to me...

and when i get my bank statement, the charge is just a total charge for attitude gifts, it's not broken down into what i bought, say 5 packs of beans at $40 per, instead i just get a total from attitude gifts for $200, the bank never has a clue as to what i bought but rather that i bought something for $200 from a gift store.. nothing is itemized, they have no clue as to whether i bought seeds or dildo's or w/e/

Credit card companies don't ever check what things are for...they just see the name...so if in fact someone called you and said they were from the credit company and then proceeded to tell you you were buying seeds, and not just making a purchase from "the attitude" then they have used them to buy seeds so they recognized the name, or someone was really bored and trying to figure out all the purchased items...which really unlikely...are you sure that any of this actually happened...I'm not trying to be difficult...but nothing on what goes to the credit company actually tells them what you are buying...so they would have to snoop to know what you were buying, and I am not so sure that they can snoop in such a fashion, if in fact they did...
I fell pretty sure that CC companies use the short codes and random names of sellers, so they don't have to claim to have knowledge of what any purchases may have been...ya know what I mean...
If your heroin dealer takes credit cards and it shows on the statement as 12shoes they don't ask what you bought...they just see that you spent such and such an amount with a company called 12shoes...lol. They don't know what it was for.

You beat me to it Racerboy. Lol...

anyway the cc company can't see what you bought... they just see the cc machine name of wherever you bought it..

So someone was messing with you...or you are trying to mess with us...either way it's all the same...no sense in all of it.

i keep seeing those ads for that new thing to swipe cc's for phones now, and i wonder wtf would use such a thing.. if you have legit business, wouldn't you not need to use your phone to collect payment?? lol.. been awhile since i've bought hard drugs, but i wonder if they take cc's now too, lol..

I have that and I collect payments with it fairly often. I'm a freelance web developer. It's just easiest for the client a lot of the time, but most still send checks.
