I think marijuana should be legalized for many reasons. One being that marijuana will always be around. People are going to smoke this plant regardless if it's legal or not. Now some of you are probably thinking that people are going to shoot heroin or do ecstasy and all those other drugs too regardless if it's legal or not. The difference between those drugs and marijuana is that marijuana can not kill you! You need to smoke your own body weight in marijuana in order for it to kill you, and I heard that is physically impossible. Marijuana also doesn't effect you to the point where it is an extreme danger to yourself or others. Sure, smoking isn't healthy for you in general, but cigarettes are legal and probably worse for you than marijuana is. Cigarettes contain tar and so many other chemicals and substances harmful to your body, while marijuana is a plant that contains natural herbs and surprisingly provides some beneficial effects on the body. Cigarettes are also smoked more frequently on average. Alcohol is also legal. You can die from alcohol poisoning! Once again, you can;t die from smoking too much weed!
