Please help!!! I have premature budding on my veg plants, I wanted to keep them in veg longer at least a couple more weeks..

Age: 4 weeks
Light Cycle: 18/6
Nutrients: haven't added any yet
PH: around 6.4
Strain: I know one is a bubba kush for sure the other 2 are unknown (messed up labels when switching pots)

My question is what could cause this??? Also can I keep them in vegetative stage or do I need to switch to flower now?? I got the seeds online from a good site don't believe they are auto flowering...I've attached some pictures, any input would be much appreciated :)

I just recently have the same thing happen to me belieave it or not. mine were just seeds from a plant that went hermie on me last year but little over a month into veg my plant running under lights 24/0 sprouted pussy hairs then started to bud on me... i was just using t8 fixture with some cfls and didnt have my hps light for almost 2 weeks after this point. i just continued to run lights 24/0 and plant seemed to be fine. and is flowering like crazy with the hps right now.
Im not really sure how long you can do this before it switched back to veg mode or know if it even will.
I did mention my case to my buddy thoughh and he said ti happened to him before when he wasnt ready to switch and he said his re-vegged eventually

If they are autos light schedual wont matter....may as well switch to 12/12 if they are budding and save some $ on electric

Why switch to 12 12 if they are autos he or she would then lose end yield by reducing the light right? The difference in electricity on a small grow area is hardly noticeable imo.

Autos are not dependent on the light and plants will grow better with a rest period, just like you can make it through the work day better with 8 hrs sleep as opposed to 4 hrs sleep....so why pay for the extra electric....even if its $20 over the grow it adds up.

So you are telling me that if I switch my lights to 12-12 while growing an auto I will have the same dense buds and yield I would normally get with the lights on longer? If so please point me in the direction of them threads.

Can you flower (grow) an auto at 12/12?
Yes.

Will it have longer spaced out nodes?
Most likely.

Will they yield the same as 18/6?
probably not.
