Pre-flowering problems

So I have about 6-8 grows under my belt and this time I wanted to change it up. I went with photoperiod plants instead of Auto-flowers. Granted as I said prior its my first time so I am a little new to the whole switching the lights and everything because I didnt have to worry about that before with the auto's. So my question is, Can anyone help me out by looking at the photo's below to tell me if my plants are actually pre-flowering? I switched the lights to 12/12 already and they've been at 12/12 for probably a week now. They're producing resin all over the stems (ran my finger up a stem) smelt it and it smelt like straight bud. I have looked around and no one has ever said anything about that happening in the pre-flower stages though. I am a regular on this site and have had a lot of experience. You can check out one of my grows below in my signature. Having a little help would be nice if anyone could answer my pre-flowering question and tell from the pictures. Grow strong!
If more pictures are needed I will be more than willing to throw them up here. Or if any other information that I hadn't said needs to be cleared up. photo(1).jpgphoto(2).jpgphoto(3).jpgphoto.jpg

Since I'm finishing up some autoflowers, I can see why your confused. I thought they would be just like clones but they grow much slower and shorter. Regular plants will stretch a lot when placed into 12/12 so you have to be prepared for it by growing clones, topping, or training your plants horizontally. When your growing with CFLs this is even more important and there's really no way your going to flower those plants with the small amount of light your using. I would look into achieving more light output and a more even canopy before you flower. In your position, I would start some seeds and flower the plants at about 6" or right away OR you could try cloning your plants, find out the sex of them and keep a female to flower rooted clones.

I understand what your saying with the CFL's...I've just never had a problem with them at all when it came to the auto's. Like you said normal plants do grow a lot larger and I believe I did let them grow a little too big. I have more CFL's that I can throw in there but they aren't the same spectrum. They're my "veg" spectrum lights that I use. I am just wondering if those are actually pre-flowering right now? Does the resin being produce show signs of pre-flower as well? The ones I am focusing on are the ones in the x2 5gallon buckets. That one on the right is just out of control but the other one on the left in the orange bucket is more under control and is a blueberry x jack. I honestly just want these things to start budding and so I can finish these up and start a Auto grow again. Auto's are just so much more well suited for the situation that I have and closet space as you can see.
