PPP fem seeds are opening without a tap?

I have 10 PPP fem seeds from nirvana sitting in warm water in the dark. Its been a day now and two of them are really opening up but without a tap it looks like. I'm not sure if that sounds crazy but they are smooth and cream colored inside and no tap to let grow out. Whats the deal? Should I try planting at this stage or let them grow more in the water? I don't want them to go bad.

leave them in there for a couple more days some seeds can take 4-5 days to germ or more. youll probably see the tap roots come out then unless they are just mutants and have no tap root:spew:

Seeds should only be soaked for a day...Get them out of the water fast and in some dirt before you drown them. if it's not to late already

I've tryed the one day soak method before and the sprout rate isn't as good. And what about all those guys who grow the tap root half to 3/4" before planting?

And whats the best way to plant them? I seem to have trouble with anything thats covered completely up in rockwool. I am only getting about a 40% sprout ratio on a drip system with no nutes from bag seed practice. I'm good with dirt sprouts though?!

He's right, i didnt notice that you said you were soaking them. i just assumed that you were using the paper towel method. That is how i normally germ them.
Most people advise to soak them for one day and then germ either by paper towel method or just straight into the soil

using the paper towel method iv germed seeds with taps reaching 2 inches, and the've grown just fine. At this point though the first two round leves had formed under the shell and i just planted them with the seed shell just above the surface of dirt

Ok so I have three that split now and two still don't look like a tap is showing. The third looks fine. I decided based upon readings to move those three to a wet paper towl in a tupperware container inside a grow tent with a seadling heat mat. The tupperware lid is cracked for air. The paper towel is fairly heavy with water so they don't dry over night. It's triple digits here. The tent is covered for dark. The rest are in a cup in the same tent with distilled water. One more is barely showing is insides.
