Yeah there weren't digital scales either, you eyeballed shit or had a triple beam. Times change, so do tools...why argue over 2 $10 tools? is $20 a bad investment?

Well If you must have a meter at least get a good one. I don't think I would have a great deal of faith in a $10.00 meter.

ppm is equivalent to mg/L and is a unit of mass concentration.

Your ppm meter, however, is not actually measuring mass concentration. Instead, it's measuring electric conductivity, which is then used to approximate mass concentration.

Seems to me, taking the advice of so many here, after carefully adjusting ppm and ph, during veg and so far bloom, my 20 dollars investment would not have meant a thing if the results didn't show. My second grow has and may continue from here on out. Good luck,

Not so sure about what to say but if you are getting something better with a little investment like that then what's wrong. Digital scales are not so expansive either. I don't remember the model but I bought it is 120$ and its working fine.
