My PPM is 1800 after i just refreshed my nutes. now i have hard water 400ppm out the faucet. and i followed directions on all my nutes for a 55 gallon reservoir. Will i be OK? My plants are in 3week of flowering and they drink around 4 gallons a day i have 20 total. Please advise should i just ride it out and keep adding fresh water?

you have an ebb and grow? or some kind of flood and drain bucket system? i just picked one up and i am interested in knowing what your flood shedule is like and how do you go about night time floods? do you even flood at night? your set looks great. your ppm also is about the strain, i used GH nutes and burned a couple strains at 1200ppm, on the other hand 3 weeks into flower they should be almost able to take it, for me it always depends on if they can take 1500 last rez, 2weeks later and a fresh rez should be able to take a bump of 200ppm

I have an ebb and grow bucket system. I am very happy with it. plants get a little to big though(funny i would complain of such a thing). The ones in the picture are pushing 5 feet and they are under 2 1000 wtt lights and 1400ppm Co2. i flood every 4 hours while the lights are on. So far after i checked them this morning there is no curling of any kind they seem to be taking the 1800ppm. If you are thinking of going ebb and grow defiantly worth it just make sure you have the room!

My goal in the pic is a ghetto SOG wall to wall canopy and just let nature takes it course. thanks for the compliment!

So you are at 1400. You are going by the directions on the bottle? They look healthy as all hell. I would suggest just topping them off with water for a week then bring them back up to 1800 (1400 after subtracting for hard water) then top with water for another week.

Either that or start using the Lucas Formula.

What brand of ferts do you use? I have a friend who doesnt even own a PPM meter and he measures according to the directions on the bottle, tops off with water, and changes out his solution once a week.

Of course with a 55 gallon drum you would most likely want to change them out once every three weeks or so.

I use GH 3 part , sweet, diamond nectar, kool bloom. Had hygrozyme but ran out. I did use heavy weight till aAL said not to.
