I have ebb & GRO-and PPM is parts per million and with a "Truncheon" stick you can measure PPM which is telling you how many nutrients you are placing in your reservoir, for your plants to take in.I'm using a mix of between 800-900 ppm and that'll be just right for MY white rhinos & AK-48's. BUT my Bubblicous like a bit higher. They like more nutrients. The PPM is a measure of how much nutrients your using. There is also a "CHART" to follow for just about every type of nutrient & supplement in existance.

Sounds like my system. 2000k w/ ebb n grow.

I'm using 10-12 pots each run. I use the GH 3-part line (full recipe), plus I add SM-90, Pro-Silicate, and H2o2. http://www.generalhydroponics.com/calculator/index.html

I clean the reservior out and refill with RO water every 10 days. I have to top-off the water halfway through that cycle though. Basically, I will top-off once, then dump and clean on the next one. Never use bleach or soap. Only water and elbow grease!

I add H202 every 3 days.

PPM depends on the plant's age. Babies burn easy.

Full Veg ppm = 1250
Flower ppm = 1500

Hope it helps.

add nutes after 2 weeks or when you get 3 alternating internodes. start them out at 1/4 strength. gradually increase 1/4 at a time. should be at full strength in a couple weeks.

This is a way of expressing very dilute concentrations of substances. Just as per cent means out of a hundred, so parts per million or ppm means out of a million.
One ppm is equivalent to 1 milligram of something per liter of water (mg/l)

Its a way to measure. Its actually a Parts per then what ever notation (million, billion and trillion are commonly used in the chemistry world)

So if you understand that correctly, its truth to say a higher PPM is a more concentrate solution.
So we as growers can use the PPM scale to measure our nutrient solution to check in on its concentration, you know we dont wanna burn our babies!

As when to add and what strength varies on strain and also stage of growth. BUT one thing they all have in common is that you would not feed any plant 1000 PPM concentrate of solution to a seedling.

There is alot to know about nutrients too. For each diffrent stage of growth the plants need diffrent N-P-K values. Its the three primary macro nutrients: nitrogen (N),Phosphorus (P), and potassium (K).

There is also secondary nutrients and macro nutrients. Plants need all these and doing hydro ,. its the growers part to make sure these are getting to them in the right concentrations.
So if you have never grown before, i Suggest reading into somethings and really understand what your getting your self into. It will guarantee success and be a really good experience.

Dude guys thanks for all the info. I have my
Medical card just for everyone's FYI. So let's say I haven't feed them for 2 days any
My

Is where I want it so I would feed it? I been looking everywhere and it
Seems nit alot of
People Really give the full story of how it works!

Once again thanks and any other info on some
Good regimens would be very much appreciated!

ph for hydro is 5.5-5.8
ppm in veg about 300 to start and 600 max.
Most hydro nutes will tell you how much to mix on the bottle. if not go online and check their websites.
In flowering 900-1400 is optium

so how are you gonna be feeding? recirculating out of a rez? in hydro, nutes are available at all times. there is no on/off days of feeding.

ok i just got my clones. my ph is at 5.6 ppm is at 140 imma keep the the ppm weres it at till about the 4th row of leaves come in. then imma start feeding the nutrients.

i quess my questions is ppm is basically how much nutes is in system? so lets say im on week one i want it from 300-400 ppm and if it goes lower feed it a lil more?

sorry for all the ?`s im very appreciated with all the help you guys have been giving me on this site. i just dont want to burn or kill my babies!
