Powerdy Mildew - Flower day 47

I am having a huge problem with powerdy mildew in my room. I am on day 47 of flowering and was wondering if anyone could recommend any organic solutions to the problem.

I was thinking about neem oil but wanted to know if its too late in the flowering to do so?

Any help would be much appreciated!!

The humidity in the room is between 47 and 50.

I use SM-90. Neem oil wont do the trick and it will ruin the taste of your smoke.:cuss:If you need to use neem for anything during flower make sure its Einstein oil and flush after you use it. :finger: Same with the SM-90. Make sure you flush well! I flush then use water only the last week. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info!! Much appreciated. I just applied zero tolerance only to the plants that were most effected. Hopefully that helps but i am definitely going to flush the last week with ro water.

I think part of the problem was not properly venting out the room. I have co2 in the room and had the exhaust turning off every 20 minutes and only staying on for 5 minutes. I am just leaving the exhaust turned on for the remainder until harvest. The humidity in the room has fallen to about 35% with the exhaust constantly on.

I'll see how it goes.

keep us posted im having the same problem.

I applied zero tolerance and it removed the pm for 2 days but its back, but not as bad as it was :wall: I am probably going to put another application and apply more within 3 days. Hopefully that helps it. Ill keep everyone posted! Please note that if you do use Zero Tolerance, use it before the light turns off, i applied it 1.5 hours before the lights turned off. On a few leaves their was minor burns.

Im thinking of picking up greencure and see if that helps.

If you guys are getting mold there is an issue with air flow or something you need to address as well as get rid of the current mold by using Sm90

That happen to me last round and found out I needed a stronger exhaust fan

Hope this helps

Mold and Powdery Mildew are two different things bro. I am currently fighting this too, after I brought home an infected clone from my collective.:wall: Now it is in both my veg/mother tent and my flower tent. From what I have learned there is nothing to stop it once it is in your plants system. Its like Herpes for plants. If the conditions are right, it pops up again. I have read that all of the solutions like Zero, Serinade are just bandaids and unless you control the humidity and temps, Mildew will come back. Now my problem is this. What the fuck do I do with all my clones and mothers? Do I stop my perpetual grow and start from scratch. This shit is really annoying.:wall:

First thing is make sure that you've got sufficient air flow. Now that you have that tackled keep your humidity below %40 and keep your temperature above 77*F it should help. Another thing that i would suggest to do is get a sulfur burner, you can use this until the last 2-3 weeks of harvest. I wouldn't suggest spraying any chemicals onto the plant, another home remedy that works is to mix baking soda, (might be baking powder but its one of the two, look further online) and water and apply thru a spray bottle, apparently it changes the ph of the leaf surface to neutral and therefore the pm cant live their

I would start from scratch.. I know my issue was from the get go. The clones orginally had pm and i sulphur bombed them from the get go. Once pm is in the system its pretty tough to eradicate. ZT is definitely a band aid but i have less then a week to go. So once this harvest is over im scrubbing the room down with hydrogen peroxide. The issue occurred when it rained 2 weeks ago, plus i had poor ventilation all of which has been resolved. The humidity is down to 45-50%. Next harvest im pretty sure the pm issue will be resolved. I think the deal with pm is taking preventative measures. I know next go round im using piranha and tarantula as a foliar to keep pm at bay.

im in the same exact situation got an infected clone from a collective now my flower and veg room infected. thought about starting over but only got 1/2oz left from last harvest which wont last me for 9 weeks, so i decided to stick it through. funny thing is the infected clone(the cheese) which is in 4wks flower is the most smelly and resin plant ive grown. my humidity is 25%-30% light and 50%-55% dark. dont have an exhaust fan just an oscilating fan inside the room, going to buy a 6" exhaust fan at home depot hope that'll solve it.

You are correct but they do go hand in hand if you get powdery mildew you will get mold on your buds

And you need to improve your air flow and bring the humidity down and yes you may have to scrap it all and start from scratch it's not the 1st or last time this will happen

Sorry for the confusion

No worries bro, lets all check back here in a couple of days and see how we are all doing.

After 2 applications of ZT and changing the exhaust time to 30 min on 30 min off due to c02 being in the room my pm is officially nearly extinct. The pm is about 90% gone after another application of ZT im sure it will be history! As others have stated before, make sure if you do spray zt you dilute with water and spray when the lights are just about to go off.
