Power went out

The power went out for the whole town. I have plants in all stages of growth. Some in flower, some in veg. And some in a hydro cloner. I don't know how long it will be out for, but what should be my biggest issue? I'm in a cold area so I can't use natural light. When should I start to be concerned?

I would be concerned already... There's nothing you can do because as you said you can't use natural light, and I'm assuming you don't have a backup power generator handy.

Nope, no backup. What can happen? Like I said I have all different stages of growth.

Well the ones that are vegging and cloning you should be ok

For the ones that are flowering leave the lights off until they are scheduled to come back on, and you should be ok

What would happen if they started up again? I talked to the power company and they should be on in an hour. That would mean, they were on for 2 hr, off for 3, then back on 7. Off for 12, on for 12. I don't know that it would be that bad, would it?

Just leave it off until the next light schedule so it can get a full one

well it came on and everything is ok! They still look happy, so that goes to show that i need to chill out.

your plants will be fine(99.9% sure)but if it keeps happening the ones in flower will prob hermie on ya.

Laptop on dial-up? iPhone? Plenty of ways to post w/o wired power

I'm not a city guy and am asking because I really don't know - If the power is out in the entire town wouldn't the cell sites and y-fi sites be out too? Do they have their own generators on site?

keep em off till next lights on time, all that will do is increase the amount of flowering hormone the plant produces since the hormone is light sensitive which is why you need the total dark in the first place. starting the light up again will confuse it and possibley cause hermies. wait,*thinks for a second* how long was the power out?
