Power Went Out Today while at Work Ac Didnt Turn Back on 8-10hrs 100deg

so came home from work today and the power had gone out in the morning and the window ac in my GR did not turn back on light come on at noon so they were probably at a 100 degreese plus for about 8 hours maybe longer dont know the exact temp as i went into rescue mode when i walked into the room but after kicking the ac back on and leaving the door open for 10 min or so the temp was still 95. are things going to be okay plants are 11.8 days into 12/12 acording to GROW.IQ great program and just started crowning yesterday.

I know some plants live in high 90s but my worry is that all 43.8 days they have been alive its always been 76 degrees will this one day spike screw anything up they looked ok when i went in there everything was perked up more than usual but no curling leafs

You should be able to tell if they are OK or not. I once had the same thing occur, except my duct work fell off my exhaust and raised temps to 103 while I was at work. Luckily I run co2 so my plants suffered no damage. If your plants have curled tips and brown leaf margins they suffered some heat stress.

I have grown plants outdoors in an area that has 100+ degree heat waves. Granted that wouldn't be shock, but the plants are usually pretty hardy, the reason we baby them is for max yield and quality. I'm 99% sure it won't kill them, I think the worst you would be in for is some minor browning or curling within the next 72 hours. I had a cfl 23W fall on a week old plant and it survived. Don't lose any sleep over it, plants are resilient. The only thing I'd worry about is if the soil was extremely dry before this happened, then it would possibly cause some root damage, don't know how many plants you have but if you are really worried you could peel back the soil in a few days and check the root structure just to be sure.

thanks for the replies calmed down already just doin my S.O.P. try and fix it then post i.t I know they will pull through more worried about yield/quality these are from seed, female seeds pure ak and extreme indica pics are from a couple hours ago bout an hour after i turned the ac back on going to buy a battery back up in the mourning for my lights and ac i know it will not sustain long runs but the outages happen daily with the afternoon showers but only last a few seconds minute at the most





have a 20gallon diy co2 gen that i start with 5 gallons of water and a shit ton of sugar and corn grain then i have a 45 pint dehumidifier set to 30rh hose drain into the generator keeps alcohol level down last about 3 weeks constant bubble don't know the ppm just know you start to feel a little dizzy if you stay in there too long,
