Power went out only in the grow room...

I'm not sure where I should have posted this thread, but hopefully this is the right place. As the title says, only the power running to the room has gone out. I tried flipping the circuit breaker multiple times to no avail. I also plugged everything out and flipped the circuit breaker again, but nothing happened. Also one outlet in a room next to the grow room ( basically they are sharing walls) is out, but two other outlets and the light switch works.

Any suggestions?

Flip the breaker to that room off, then take the plates off of all the receptacles (plugs) in the room and loosen the top and bottom screws until you can pull the plugs out from the box they are in. Check for any wires burnt in two. More than likely there was a loose connection and it finally arced til it burned.

P.S. - I STRONGLY recommend looping the wiring around the screw vs. using the "stab-loc" in the back. 9 times out of 10 people using the stab-loc in the back of the plug will cause it to have a poor/loose connection and the wire burns... possibly burning down your house.

MrJones, thank you so much! I discovered the wiring on the plate next door was extremely loose. Problem fixed!
