Hey guys I am fourth week into flowering and this PM is kicking my ass.... Ive used Serenade,Exel LG systemic soil drench and Zero Tolerance for treatment and still this stuff is not going away.Aside the obvious like buying an expensive dehumidifier(which I cant afford) are there any other things I can try ? I live in NorCal where it does nothing but rain all winter,My tents humidity varies from 38% to 55% humidity when the lights on and 60% when its off with an average temp of 74 degree's.I have 3 fans which include a hydrofarm 6 inch ducted to outside a 12 inch oscillating and a 3 inch for the lower canopy. My flowers are starting to smell like mildew and I don't wanna loose all of my time, meds and hard work. Can somebody help please ?:wall:

cut off the leafs with pm, that's what i did. also try to not to keep you're medium too moist.

I had a jack herer plant out door that got attacked by powdery mildew i almost threw that plant away, good thing i chopped off all the leafs that got attached by pm and the plant turned out to be great smoke

Powdery mildew is NO fun. ive had it and there isnt a great cheap solution for it in flowering. But i have kicked its ass in the veg room. i used neem oil as a spray. but if u do it in flower your bud will taste like shit. you can try a silicon to add to your water that will help keep it down. i use dyna grow pro-tek. it has helped alot!

Thanks for the ideas guys... Its already in the plants system so it isn't going to go away I don't think... My Blue Dream have been resistant to everything Ive treated them with.It will be almost impossible to get my humidity down without spending $$$ I don't have.I heard of using milk, but I am not really wanting to do any more foliar anything because it makes my humidity rise....

save up for a 70pint dehumidifier..i got powdery mildew once, tried everything with no luck..then i bought a good dehumidifier and have never seen it in my grow room since

I agree... if your humidity is that high you'll never get rid of the mildew. Get the dehumidifier, just think of the money you could save on all those sprays that don't really work anyway.

a 70 pint seems like a bit much for my 6x6 tent... Plus I have my 600 my T5's 3 fans and a tray its a little tight in there as it is...Im gonna have to drop like $300 on a dehumidifier it looks like maybe with taxes ? But there goes my new slash 4x4 and LiPo Dang it LOL

i got a 3x3x7 grow tent in a spare room and my 70pint dehumidifier in the room not the tent..its just to keep the RH low in the whole room..and i only turn it on when lights go off in flower

i bought a small dehumidifier first and i didnt help my powdery mildew issue cuz it wasnt powerful enough..it dropped the RH like 5-10%..then i said fuk this and bought a 70 pint..now i can get it as low as 32% when lights are off and i've never ever seen powdery mildew in my grow room since..plus my plants just look happier and bud faster

Yeah I might have to find a way to get a big Dehumidifier I don't wanna lose all of my investment for sure that would just suck royally..... On a day like today we've been socked in with fog and mid week the rain is suppose to come back and I cant get my RH down at all its stuck at 50%.Ive been all over the Sacramento/Chico Craigslist with no luck finding one.

hahaha i could let u know how well those things work..it will drop ur RH 1% so its pretty much a damn ripe off lol i got two of em..got em for free when i ordered a cheap lil dehumidifier that also worked like shit..so i had 2 of those eva things plus a 5-10 pint dehumidifier i think and my RH dropped like 5-10%..its a rip-off..get a good one

Thanks Kart0on.Will this work if its systemic ? I think my clones had it when I bought them and it wasnt showing for who knows what reason,so I think its in their system and not something thats going on in my grow room.Have you tried a root drench with it or just foliar ?
