I just went into my grow room and found quite alot of powdery mildew on the lower part of one of my plants. i have 3 og kush 18s that im harvesting saturday, just harvested my other 2 strains the other day. the og's were in the middle the whole grow but right now i cut off alot of leaves and side branches with the mildew and got everything i could see. the plant next to it had some on it too on the lower part that was touching and around the main effected plant. I am using the stinkbud aero system with about 5 foot tall plants. i dont see anymore mold but what should i do? i dont want any of those spores to spread that were air born as i was cutting i could see the powder go in the air from just cutting and moving plant material. i want to make sure my main colas are going to be ok so should i spray anything on them that wont hurt people since im so close to harvest or what should i do? is it bad if the plant has powdery mildew that i cannot see and i smoke it? i dont know what to do, can anyone help me with some ideas? I feel really uneasy right now. +rep for any info. thanks.

also im using 2 18 inch circulating fans and a 750cfm vortex fan so i have plenty of air movement and ventilation. my humidity has not been too high. it will go in the 50's but usually never higher, its been in the 40's mainly lately.

Should i possibly just spray some 3% h202 solution on the plants? if so what ratio of h202 to water? I read this works and can be used on buds even while trimming. i dont know though, thats why im asking.

I've seen this white powder like mold in other ops but never in mine. I've seen this mold continue even after the crop is cut. I don't know if it will help but you could try to clean them by spraying them with water well before you chop them. I couldn't see any reason why, after isolating the problem plants, while drying spray the mold with pure alcohol in order to kill it. If you don't do something you will have nothing but a big bag of powdered mold instead of pot.

Have you tried the milk remedy. I think its like 9 parts water 1 part milk. I tried it my last garden and it seemed to help. I have 6 chemdogs plants about a foot tall with some powdery mildew I just sprayed them down. We'll see what happens.

I haven't but have seen others say they have tried. I think I will go with h202 but I'm hoping to hear from some more people first.

I dont know what the h202 mix is im going to look it up. i keep seeing different results. and its only on the leaves it barely made it on to some buds that i cut. everything looks good right now from what i can tell. i dont think i see anymore mold but im trying to make it not come back in the next 2 days and even while drying.

I just sprayed the plants with 1/4 cup 3% h202 and the rest water in a 32oz spray bottle. I hope this will keep the mold in check for the next 2 days. I dont see any but i dont want any coming back and i am kind of worried about it coming back during drying and curing. is there anything to do if that happens?
