Powder Mildew at the end of week 6

Hello,

So I have some really nice looking plants and I just noticed they have a little bit of PM on their leaves and it is slowly starting to get worse. I just bought some greencure and was wondering if that should be able to treat the problem and keep the powder mildew from spreading for the next 18 days until harvest.

Id say that greencure will help.. Ur plants mature so it might be damn hard to stop it..are they in sun.. Kf not sun helps if that's a possibility.. All the dl u can... But it can spread so if its just on one part id spray it... Id spray the leaves more than anything... If u think its ok to spray.. Can u get a pic

Here is a pic from a few days ago. When I get home I will update the pic and focus on a few spots where the PM is. Today, I moved 3 of the plants outdoors in the sun so that they are no longer crowded. I was thinking of spot spraying the PM with 3% hydrogen Peroxide mixed with water. Also, have you guys seen the guys who does the Hydrogen Peroxide bath right when harvesting? If it gets bad I may have to try it. As for now, the PM is staying away from 95% of the buds. It is mainly on fan leaves and only a few sugar leaves.

I second the H2O2. I believe you can add a little Baking Soda to the solution as well, but I don't remember the details on that. I'm sure if you search it you can find something.

Neem In my older days used to be pretty good.... but you can not come by it these days around here. I believe it was banned a while back.

Even if you do treat the problem, MAKE SURE that you do treat the solution. Spray H2O2 is still increasing moisture... Increase Ventilation, get a Dehumidifier, Defoliate unnecessary foliage will also help your situation.

If you allow the problem to worsen, where you Pm in the garden you may also come to see regular white Fuzzy Mold! Otherwise don't worry to much, PM by itself on just the fan leaves is not the end of the world.

Thank you guys. I bought some H202 and am ready to apply tonight. I was using the apple cider vinegar before with very little success.

Remove ANY mold aswell. Its only gonna get worse if you dont.
Maybe thin the plant around the affected areas aswell. So more air can hit the mold.
Watch your humidity too. Are you under a big tree or anything? Is the plant getting a lot of shade?

You can also do an h2o2 wash right as you harvest. Then you flick off the water gently and dry with a fan a bit before drying. I did it just to be sure and it worked out quite well on a PM plant i had last year. I was doubtful but it worked better than expected. Taste and quality were not adversely effected. The taste may have actually improved but I vape so it all tastes pretty good. :D

I also sprayed 3% h2o2 as a foliar spray for a few days when i found out what was going on. The first day or two the spray turned a rusty brown colour. Then it ran like water.

I had an RH 70% problem that I have corrected and I now use more fans to be sure. And defoliate and allow air flow. Trim the bottom larfy shit all out etc.

I am glad i went with a 4 x 4 tent and light that is 3 x 3 coverage. I have room for more fans !

Yeah you're in a tent. Ya gotta get that bitch dry.
Extra fans and circulation too.
Best of luck.

I forgot to mention. After your grow you have to clean out your tent really really well. I swapped out my filter (i had a spare) and cleaned everything with bleach and water. Then i let it air out and dry and started over.

It can linger in your tent if you do not take care of it after the grow.

You guys are awesome. I am applying the H202 tonight and if for some reason it does not work then I will try greencure which is coming via fed ex right now. My current perspective wants me to add more fans, cut unnecessary foliage, spray only the leaves that are affected with H202 and play it by ear. If worse comes to worse, I will harvest in 2 1/2 weeks when the buds are ready and do the H202 wash before trimming. Trying not to use the greencure on the buds at all. After I harvest, I am going to bleach the shit out of my tent, my carbon filter, fan, and everything. I will even be replacing the ducting. How does that sound?
