just wondering how I can up he resistance in a pot? I keep buying pots and everyone of them are between 90-96k I need at least 99 if not 100+.
Iv even gone and bought a Honeywell pot and that is only 96.9k. So can I ad a resister to up the rating whist still allowing it to dim to 0?

For Dimmers that work on a 1 to 10 Volt signal:
Some of us added a 10k resistor in series with the dimmer pot. This allowed us to compensate for a pot which was greater than 90k but less than 100k. The 100k dimmer setting is what allows full power to the LEDs. The 10k series resistor will produce a 1volt dim signal when the dimmer pot is turned to minimum position.

The 3-in-1 dimming Meanwells dim wires will have 0.1 mA (one ten-thousandth of an Amp) current flowing thru them when a resistor (dim pot is connected to the blue and white wires).
Volts = Amps x Resistance
1 volt dimming signal comes form 0.1 mA (0.0001 Amps) flowing thru a 10k (10,000 Ohms)
10 volts = 0.1 mA x 100 Kohm.
And that's all I know about that.
