Potential catastrophe with my scrogged plant :(

Catastrophe!! it was going ohhh so well!! Came back to my plant to find a shit load of leaves had turned yellow and had spots on them. I took pictures of the leaves in question but deleted them by accident so i found one leaf with one of the problems. The whole canopy is gone so skinny now. I removed a good two handfuls of fan leaves. The more i looked the more i saw :( some buds dont even have big fan leaves. I really think i have dampered my yield big time guys :(

Basically i had to go away this weekend meaning no water for the weekend. I topped off the res saturday morning and got back to my grow room at 6pm today. so i reckon it had nothing but strong nute water to drink. I raised the light a few inches before i left in case of heat burn. My opinions are:

Nute burn
Fungus
Heat stress

Really hope somebody can help me out!View attachment 2636737View attachment 2636738View attachment 2636739View attachment 2636740View attachment 2636741

looks like heat stress....and also a cal mag deficiency....try foliar spraying some cal mag.
Thanks for the reply Bu. I noticed the heat stress but if you look at the second pic( what i was trying to get in the pic) is the little black dots that look like mold to me. there were quite a lot of leaves with those black dots. COuld that be a sign of heat stress too? I could be wrong. She is in week 4 of flowering now and considering its only a 7 week strain i dont want to be spraying her that much.

Found a shit load of something that looked like mucus in the dripring. Cleaned it out and took all of it out. Found some on the clay pebbles. Perhaps theres more within the clay pebbles and roots? Anybody have any idea what it could be? Seems everything just went wrong at once! Looks like root slime to me if im corret?View attachment 2637485View attachment 2637486

Ive raised the light a bit yesterday. Temps go to a maximum of 28c (82F) but usually stay around 25c (77F)

And no there isnt any H202 in the res

I have a theory. Since there is drainage problem with my waterfarm ( water put into the top bucket takes an age to flow through) could it be possible that the roots in the top chamber are drowned?

Totally looks like a CalMag problem to me also. The leaves growing sideways (not sure how else to explain it) happened to me when I was using just RO water + nutes and not adding CalMag. I added in the CalMag and none of the other leaves grew in that way. Likely that is also going to mean your plant is sensitive to Nitrogen and won't need as much.

Very well could be that. I did a lot of googling for ph and ppm problems and it looks to be just that. I found a few leaves that better show the problem. I emptied the res and fed her normal ph'd tap water. Hopefully she will recover in a few days.

Check your roots. That looks like algae and the beginning of root rot if you let it go.
Ahh shit!! Wont be able to check out the roots as im doing a scrog. Il have to figure out a way to check them somehow. anything i can do to help her out?

A lot of people say to use h202. I've never had to deal with it thankfully. However, a friend has. The roots will have slime and eventually turn nasty. That's what his did atleast. We attributed it to high res temps. In the 80s.

Would be tough to find h2o2 in dublin. I think i know what happened. i had to leave the plant on its own for 2 days in which the heat in the tent could have heated the water quite much! other than that i top off with cold water daily so cant see any other reason as to why. Ony have three weeks till harvest. DO you reckon she will be ok to go that long?

There really isn't much you can do that late. Even if you got h202 it would be at least a week before the plants even turned around if you have bad root rot. I would just keep on top of res changes and ride it out and mark it up as lesson learned. But still try to check your roots if you can. If they're all brown you really have no option especially if its a 10 week strain im my opinion.

Spraying it???? i pray youre not doing it during lights on or youre frying your plants.... have done this myself... only mist/foliar feed at the beginning of lights out or long before they come back on so plants can dry... Light gets magnified by the water drops and it gives em a beating

Huh? You put h202 in the res...not sure where you got foliar feeding from the post.

Thanks for the info mate. il just change water daily and hope to yield a half decent amount. Il try to find some way to check the res tomorrow and its northern lights so its a 7/8 week strain.

If you are talking about the damaged leaves i havent done any foliar feeding/ spraying at all during the grow

try adding some potassium maybe....also that gunk in your res looks like some sort of bacteria.....is any light hitting your res? if so when light heat and water are together...the water starts growing bacteria, fungi, and other things, keep a top on your res or keep it in the dark. also General Hydroponics makes a solution called "FloraShield". you mix it in your res with fresh water for an hour or so and then ad your nutrients to the water like normal. this does not harm your plants and it kills any bacteria build up or gunk in your res....hope this helps.
