Potassium Hydroxide (food grade vs non)

I'm looking into getting 55gal barrel of Potassium Hydroxide. Currently the only stuff in stock at the chemical place is non food grade but they tell me they sell the same stuff to several of the local hydroponic food manufactures. The Phosphoric Acid I'm getting is food grade so would like to keep it food grade unless there's no reason to not go non food grade Potassium Hydroxide.

Potassium hydroxide comes as flakes and sold by mass, not by volume. It's safer and more convenient to get that way.

This is already 45% liquid in 55gal barrel. The Phosphoric Acid is food grade 75%.
