Potassium Bicarbonate during late Flower

Hi all, I had 2 Lemon Bubble photoperiods over the summer and one of them ran long into November. My outdoor deck loses direct sun pretty quickly in late Sept/early October so the plant started getting powdery mildew in late flower, unfortunately. I read up on various mitigation approaches and eventually settled on Potassium Bicarbonate. Still seems like there is healthy debate both for and against this particular solution, but I gave it a shot anyway. Hosed them down twice in one week with the solution and then soaked them down a third time with regular water to clean off any residue before chopping.

The buds are now curing and I'm comparing them to the first plant that I harvested in September without issues. The plant that I treated with PB seems to have way less fragrance/odor and less flavor. I could have sworn I read something about PB killing off Terpenes but I can't seem to find it...not sure if I'm making that up so figured I'd ask the community...

Does anyone have experience applying PB late in flower and, if so, how has that impacted the harvest, if at all?

Thanks!
