Pot size ??.?

i started about 8 plants today up about 1 hour and an half from here in 1 gallon pots and a few in 4 gallon buckets, will the 1 gallons be okay if they are treated as the same as the 4 gallons? because i'm starting later in the season i thought that the pot size could be smaller?

I'm growing some in 1 gall pots. Should be fine, you might just have to water them more often.
