Hello growers..
A friend of mine has registered to the forum before 10 days or so and still hasn't been able to post a thing. What can he do, can he contact someone to check what's happening with his account? Any help would be deeply appreciated

(sorry for posting same thing twice under requests section.)

Hi Sunni.. his username is Casa Bonita.. Thanks in advance
Mm are you sure that's right ? I don't have a single user listed with that name

Is this like a new account ? Did he get an email confirmation and activate the account ?

He's a new member, his profile url is http://rollitup.org/members/casa-bonita.933323/
He doesnt remember getting a confirmation email although he does remember reading that "an admin will review the registration within 48 hours ...etc" after completing the registration.
There might be a problem with the site cause after a few days he tried registering another account but its the same thing.
Thanks for your time and effort.. I hope you find a solution.

what email company is he using? gmail? yahoo? hotmail?
is he using a vpn or tor?
does he have a previous account to which hes using the same email for the new account?

weve had plenty of new members join without issues, its a combination of something hes doing and something thats causing the website not to register it
, ive had this happen before to 1 other user the "an admin will review blah blah" is just a standard message no admin actually reviews what happens is an email is automatically sent out to register your account and than thats when your account is registered. he needs to activate his account via email.

edit: it looks like hes using a vpn or tor, not every vpn or tor works with our system, while we respect users decisions to use them, we cant guarantee it works with our system, unfortunately this is probably the reason why his account wont activate or get an email, the system is thinking hes spam. understandably we must make our forum spam free as best as possible and sometimes that hits users who use certain tors or vpns.

so unless he tries to use the forum without that specific vpn or tor to make a new account with a real email from a major email service he wont be able to activate his account.

but should he want to thats how he will get around the issues hes having.

Ok. I think this is the reason.. If you would be kind enough to delete the account so he can use the same email again, I'll tell him to re-register without using TOR..
thanks for your help.. very much appreciated

He will have to use a new email all together
Security reasons I can't change the email of that account
And since the software of the forum only allows for one email per account

And he's unable to change it since he can't get on he's gunna have to make a new email
