Cut party cups in half then covered the inside of them with wrinkled aluminum foil for cheap yet useful reflectors.

Read that i could keep the lil beauties on a 20/4 light cycle forever.

Here's what my little set up looks like, simple and effective. Bigger CFLs are about 2 or 3 inches away and i tried to get the smaller ones as close as I could without burning her too soon. Shows my little party cup reflectors that due well.

Oldreefer, i took a look at your first plants and they look very good. I'm sure yours Fast Buds plant will come out very very well.

Dude those party cups are fucking genius. I am totally going to steal that idear. Also, your lights are set up exactly the same as mine, how's that workin out for ya so far?

The set up seems to be just right. I keep the bigger CFLs on the side to work on the sides of the plant while the 4 smaller CFLs work on the top. The big lights are pretty much in a static position while i can adjust the 4 small light upward with the growth of the plant. When you make the party cup reflectors make sure you make a notch to fit around half the CFL. I took some pics to explain, it helps position and stabilize the cup. i thought about using mylar instead of aluminum foil, but if CFLs can burn a plant then it can melt ultra thing plastic over time. The cups seem to take the heat very well.

^^^ I've seen people use pop cans the same way with good success. =)

my first idea was to use cans, but figured i'd end up cutting myself all the time when i would tend to my plants.

Nicely done Blunt! I am using cfl's also and have been happy so far with the results. I want to see how well and fi they can really develop some BIG buds. Yours look tasty man!
