I transplanted my girls into 3 gallon pots of FFOF last night around 11PM cst and I watered the root ball and maybe a 2in diameter around the root ball. I didn't water until I saw runoff as I didn't want to drown them. You can see in the pics the area I watered. I'm wanting to know when I should start watering the entire pot opposed to what I did last night. Thanks in advance.

in a dry cup of dirt pour one fourth of the pot volume of water into the cup. repeat when dry once again. plant roots dont drown- beneficial beasts do. ever see plant roots dangling in a hempy bucket for months?

the water breaks allows fungus to develop in order to break down natural organic compounds into something the plant can use. It cant eat sticks and rocks and peat moss and gypsum and stuff. when you restrict the are that is allowed to be wet occasionally the available nutrients in that space will not be utilized. roots will run into dry dirt that has no usable nutrients in it yet. make sense?

Should I wait until it dries then continue with this method? I'm concerned that I may have under watered but figured that's better than overwatering.

I'd do it right now and recall the run off for future, if there is any. you are not in danger of harming the plant on this watering even if doubled, but dont double. breathe....its all going to be great
