keep the peel of lime or orange inside, and check it every 12 hours, but don't let the peel grow mold

Edit

don't let your peel touch the bud. i like to wrap my lemon peels in a coffee filter

Yes, but the bud loses some of it's smell and becomes a little more grassy.

My preferred method to moisten over dried bud is with harvested plant stem/leaves.

I try to use a slice of apple. Not sure why. . . guess I figured it would be too juicy but have enough moisture to sink into the bud. Plus, I like dried apple.

^^^ Yeah, that's true too. If your still in burping mode there really shouldn't be too much of an issue with overdrying it. Just let her stew in her own juices and ferment for about 2 hours, then burp, then stew, then burp, etc.

Yea I moisten up all my weed, I usually dry it bone dry for storage, then have to re moisten it when I want to smoke it. Moistening it up is no problem at all. You can use anything that holds water, which is almost anything, I always use a carrot, they are readily available and their not sticky. I will take one carrot and put it in a mason jar with an ounce of marijuana. It will take 1-2 days to moisten it up. Moist buds don't crumble or break very easy and give you more overall bud weight. Hope that helps, Give it a try. bongsmilie

No, not me. . . Stonerman (post #7) said he uses a carrot. A whole carrot or a peeled "mini" carrot? a fingerling?

Peels's and carrots work ,the best method I have found is a moist q-tip,,The key is to get it damp I like to squeeze the excess water out ..Don't soak it this is important ..Trust me This works don't overdue it start with one depending on the amount you want to moisten check every few hrs you can then add a cpl more ,a lil more water etc...This method works well hope this helps !

all these methods are great. if i add a peel to a fruit will the bud have a hint of that fruits smell for a while? that can make the value go way up 8)

If you have any other plants going still you can take some fan leafs and put them in the cure jar. The dry buds will suck up the moisture. And poof.

Hey Colonuggs,

I have a whole rack which was overdried as i was on holidays and didnt get back in time.

Just want to clarify, you place the over dried nugs in the container and spray them with water as you fill the container and then leave it in there overnight and they come out allot better>?

Thanks for your help (i wasnt about to try to cut that many carrots and oranges to rehydarte an ammount similar to your pic LOL ).
